I went to OH MY GRILL for the first time (April 25th, 2025) and I was very disappointed. Me and my wife dined in and ordered Curry Katsu, Crab Rangoon, Fries, and Garlic Chicken. The drinks were the Hawaiian Plantation drink and the Thai Milk Tea. Overall it was about 50 minutes of waiting for the food. Which is understandable as people are ordering online as well as to-go on a Friday night.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty decent and colors are vibrant. The tables are decent and the chair is unique and comfortable.
Most of the food arrived except for the Garlic Chicken. The Curry Katsu was really good. The chicken was soft and tender. We have no complaints there. The drinks were interesting. The Thai Milk Tea was below average with a very saturated orange sand color that almost taste like a pastel. The Hawaiian Plantation drink is okay decent at best as if it came out from a Dole Pineapple can. The Crab Rangoon and fries are decent as well. We have no problems there. I commend OH MY GRILL with the Katsu Curry as it was cooked really well as well as the presentation of the restaurant.
On the other hand when the Garlic Chicken arrived, I was caught off guard. The chicken was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I further inspected the chicken and it was frozen cold and showed and have my wife touched the chicken. Frozen cold. I notified the young tall male cashier. He wasn't at fault and I just wanted to notify someone about it. I asked him if the Garlic Chicken is supposed to be served like that and have him touch the chicken. He was concerned as he also said that it was cold and it shouldn't be served like that. He grabbed my plate and I proceeded to wait for about 10 minutes for a new plate. By then I was thinking about what I ate and that I waited for 45 minutes to get served. The plate arrived. As suspected the chicken was just refried. It left me furious and I was really disappointed at that point.
I left with pure dissatisfaction. I expected more from the restaurant with its cool environment yet failed in customer service. Over all, OH MY GRILL was a below average long wait visit with decent selections but didn't make it to the cut due cold chicken in addition to just cooking it again instead of giving me...
Read moreI went to order a pick up for my wife and I and due to my wifes short lunch break (30 mins) I spoke with a rude woman named Haley. I ordered a chicken katsu with fries and a PLAIN cheeseburger. Haley then served me at the cash register when I came to pick up my order and instead of offering me a bag to carry my food, she instead says it was 25 cents as if I couldn't afford it... She also got my order WRONG! So after driving 20 mins back to my house only to find out the plain Cheeseburger I ordered was NOT plain, my pregnant wife was PISSED and so was I! I called the restaurant and Hayley answered. When I told her that she got our order wrong, instead of rectifying the issue, she immediately yelled and told me I didn't order a PLAIN cheeseburger which got me angry already. She's served my family and I in the restaurant before and she also made that same mistake. Hayley was rude and seems to think highly of herself than the customers and then blames us when she doesn't know how to listen and take orders. WILL NOT...
Read moreGreat food. Katsu curry was bomb. But I also noticed that there was a sink on the side of the dining area. Which is odd to see. Also they were washing the drinking glasses right in front of the customers. I don't see that at any restaurants but this location. Also another health hazard... is that the girl that was washing the drinking glasses was wearing rubber gloves. She has been using those gloves to wash, serve, take order, and god knows what she has been doing. I've seen a couple of the staffs that were wearing gloves as well. But it's a health issue cause it is cross contamination. I mean I would suggest that they should follow the health guidelines. Wash hands with soap. And use new pairs of gloves. When serving, taking orders etc. Gloves can become contaminated just as easily as bare hands. If gloves are not changed frequently or used correctly, they can transfer bacteria and other pathogens from one food item to another. Health department should have checked this out. This isn't...
