Panda Express — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Yesterday, after waiting for a very long time at my doctor appointment, i was too tired to cook so we picked up Panda Express on our way home for lunch. I really really LOVE their beyond orange chicken and i was craving it badly. Decided to get the family meal and ordered the fried rice, chow mein, beyond orange chicken, honey sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken and two orders of cream cheese rangoons. Employees were nice, and provided ample napkins, utensils, fortune cookies and sauce which was a plus because many places forget!! We arrived home and to my disappointment my beyond orange chicken was the regular orange chicken instead. I really wanted to have the beyond orange chicken! Good meal anyway.

02/07/2023 After rehab today my husband and I picked up lunch here since my mom was craving food from here. We usually drive through 99% of the time but today I decided to go inside to order. I was greeted by friendly ladies and since there was a customer before me, I was told they would be right with me. Very very clean. I was taken care of next so I placed my order for the family meal (2 sides 3 entrees) and waited for them to cook more black pepper chicken. The employees there were so super nice and very kind. I was offered a drink while I waited for the new batch to be cooked. The Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, Chow Mein, Chow Funn, Black Pepper Chicken, & Cream Cheese Rangoons, ended up being delicious. It was great meal.

09/11/2024 Tried the New Blazing Bourbon Chicken. Although it looks nothing like the ads,the taste is delicious! It has a nice deep smokey flavor. I might get addicted! 🤔

09/30/2025 My childhood friend drove up from my Hometown of Aiea to visit me here in Wahiawa so we ended up at the drive thru at Panda Express. Was pretty hot out so I just wanted a drink and ended up getting a pomegranate pineapple lemonade. It was very refreshing. The sweetness and coolness immediately washed away the afternoon fatigue. I noticed they didn’t put tons of ice like other places so we get our money’s worth for the drink which was very thoughtful. The lady at the drive thru was kind and extremely friendly. I always get excellent customer service here. Definitely a favorite spot...

No issues with the food itself, but my one star goes the staff or one female whose name I do not know. Once I came home after using the drive-thru, I realized I hadn’t received my egg roll(not a huge deal). I just wanted to call to inform them they might need to be more cognizant of the complete order, but after informing the lady who answered the phone that I hadn’t received an item that I know I was charged she asked if I had my receipt. After a quick search in the bag, I couldn’t find it, so I told her that I unfortunately did not. She was then quick to tell me I wasn’t charged the item, even though I specifically remembered seeing the item on the board in the drive-thru when the item was added to my order. I then asked the lady if she had the correct order. She named off everything on my order including our drinks and other side item that we received. I was a bit frustrated, because I felt like she only said I wasn’t charged because I told her I didn’t have the receipt. I went back to the car to look for the receipt. I found it. It indeed had a chicken egg roll on the receipt. In this case, it is not the mere chicken egg roll that I didn’t receive that’s the issue, it’s the blatant lie she gave after I told her I didn’t have...

1/5 stars for service. The woman running the drive through was very rude. She was rushing my husband through his order. When he tried to order my meal, the woman was irritated and short in her responses. When we pulled up to the window, we were met with an irritated woman who took our card, ran it & said nothing when giving it back. We ordered two diet cokes, a plate and bowl. We received one diet coke right away. We then waited 6 minutes for the next diet coke. After that, we waiting another 5 minutes when I shouted through the drive through to get someone’s attention to ask what was taking so long after seeing multiple people standing around and making faces at each other. He responded kindly. After another 4/5 minutes, we got our meals. We said thank you and nothing was said from the employees. Overall, it was not a great experience.
