Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Horrible! We had placed an order through the Pizzahut App. Received a confirmation of our order to be delivered at 7:28pm. We realized we had the wrong phone number listed. We called 643-1111 to check on order. They said the driver tried calling but no answer. We had asked for re-delivery. PizzaHut had said your order is being delivered and it should be there in 10mins. We had waited outside our home for the delivery from 7:28pm. No one showed up. We called PizzaHut again around 7:59pm to check on our order. All PizzaHut told us is it’s out for delivery and if no one is there in 10mins call us back. No one showed up, still waiting outside. 8:15pm Calmly and respectfully asked PizzaHut to cancel the order and ensure we will be refunded. This Pizzahut agent had placed me on hold only to return to tell me “Your order is in the process of being canceled” and hung up. We had called PizzaHut back again trying to ensure our order is canceled and we will be refunded. Jackie who answered this final call could not give us the total that had been charged to my card and could not give us a confirmation number to confirm our order is canceled and will be refunded. All of these calls had been processed through PizzaHut 643-1111. This is not the first time that I have received Horrible customer service through PizzaHut 643-1111. Doordash had still arrived at our home around 8:30pm and had No Idea that our order had been canceled. The doordash person had informed us that they were not the first person to try and deliver our order. We had denied the order and told the delivery driver we canceled the order. Ended up getting food...

The main reason is the pizza was fantastic. I had previously swore I would never order pizza from Pizza Hut again because the pizzas would be consistently skimpy on the toppings. It was only due to the pandemic, with online ordering, minimal interaction and me and my wife fondly remembering about pan pizza crust that we ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut again. That pizza was fantastic. I was still hesitant because that was just a one time event. Not enough to mark a trend. Then my grandma wanted pizza when I was there doing yard work and my niece picked up some Pizza Hut and that was amazing. Those experiences were enough for me to order Pizza Hut this time, even though they had already sold out of large pan pizzas. All of these experiences are from the Leoku St. location in Waipahu and they have earned consideration when deciding where to eat. I am still hesitant to get Pizza Hut from any other location, but I will keep my eyes open to see if this is the new corporate standard or if it just this location that makes...

This location is the most convenient for me and I stopped visiting this pizza hut for a few years now. This day, Friday November 5, 2021 Around 215pm my kids asked for pizza hut over dominoes and we were so amazed at the quality of the food and service. The staff was amazingly courteous, very friendly and helpful, including the kitchen staff as they popped their heads out to say welcome and thank you. I'm not sure if the management was changed along with thr new renovations to the strip mall but we are looking forward to...
