Went to see High Watah last night. We were the 2nd group in line. They didn’t open until 845p. Went to pay and told only 3 vip tables at$200 per table but nothing noted about having to pay to sit. Still have to pay vip per person at $40. There was 5 of us totaling $200 to get at vip rate + $200=$400 just to seat. I asked what comes with buying table. She said that it would come with service. Which was a lie. NO WAITRESS SERVICE. NO WALKING SPACE TO GET OUT OF SEATING. VIPs have their own bar that services VIP. Lies cause there was only no special bar for VIPs. Anybody could get drinks from the VIP bar. But people paying a total of $400 we could not see the stage with all the people who paid the vip fee with NO table of $40. But people who paid $200 couldn’t even get out of their seats or stand due the amount in that space. The line to women’s bathroom looped out in front of white tables fronting sabarros. There was only 4 stalls and we were in line for at least 25-30 minutes. The expectation was that event would start between 10 & 1030pm but they didn’t start till 1145pm. I couldn’t watch cause I was waiting in line for the bathroom. So I paid $400.00 to sit for 5 of us and over $200 for watered down drinks. I left at 12am but there were still a packed line of people trying to get in. I will NEVER go there again. Waste of time and money for a shitty experience and crappy drinks and dirty pissed on floors!!!!
What makes it worse is the I felt very bad for a girl who waited in line so long that she messed on herself. Her night was ruined and she was embarrassed. Leaving crying and she was in line when it happened. No staff came...
Read moreA fantastic and unexpected experience from this establishment whose quality of cocktails is only surpassed by the warmth and hospitality of those serving them.
The owner was there and very engaging. He actively edited the music selection seemingly adjusting based on the patronage which created an ambiance of every person there tapping a foot while sipping a drink. There was hip-hop, local music, and my wife and I even two-stepped to a country song. It was amazing how this was done seamlessly so that everyone enjoyed it however still feeling unforced and inclusive. Apparently they even have live music occasionally however not that night, I can't wait to return and experience that.
The owner, a Marine veteran whose experience lent itself the name of the bar, was an absolute delight. He was engaging, listening to my story, and telling me his. He purchased my wife and I a round and let us sample some of his personal creations that have been submitted to competitions (see crazy pics).
In the end we left there wanting more and can't wait for the...
Read moreWe recently visited this new spot, and while it has potential, there were a few disappointments. Unfortunately, they didn't have any pupus on the menu, which was a letdown, especially after the mall closed and all the food courts were shut. The atmosphere was quite mellow during our visit, lacking any dancing or live music, which made it feel a bit subdued.
On a positive note, they do offer a charcuterie board, which came with the drinks—definitely a cute touch! The drinks themselves were decent, but overall, the experience didn't quite meet our expectations. I hope they can enhance the vibe with more food options and entertainment...
