Ordered a couple of veggie subs over the weekend online. When I arrived to pick them up, the grill that they cook on looked disgusting. There was crud and burnt meat all on the sides. The kitchen looked unhealthy. I didn't have much faith in my sub being edible at that point. When I got home and unwrapped it, there was nasty, slimy spring mix lettuce, a few cucumbers that we're also old, some pieces of cheese and no mayo. I took it back for a refund. The kid working there said he was unable to do that since it's an online order, but he would contact his manager. I will never eat there again and highly recommend nobody else step foot into that establishment. I have not heard anything back from the manager, or corporate office after sending them feedback, so I can only assume that they just don't care. UPDATE: I have tried multiple times to contact them, as well as the web address they give in the response to my review. They will not get back to me, and I am out of my hard earned money. I will contact the health department and have them inspected. Don't be surprised if they suddenly close down. UPDATE: They finally contacted me and refunded me a full refund on the order.

Cousins Subs: This Milwaukee based sub sandwich shop is located throughout the Midwest at more than 100 locations. It was founded in 1972 by cousins Bill Specht and Jim Sheppard (hence the name Cousins Subs). Today I have their cheesesteak sub that was generously provided free of charge by my boss at a work lunch. Cousins' cheesesteak comes with steak, provolone cheese (I substituted for American this time), lettuce, onions, tomatoes & salt. Being the cheese man that I am, I decided to try it on their parmesan asiago bread. The bread added an extra burst of cheesy flavor (just not the ooey gooey kind) making me glad I remembered to try it. When heated the bread was soft, thick, and pleasantly chewy. I was given a large portion of steak and there was plenty of gooey, melty, American cheese to keep me happy. Although it didn’t add flavor, the lettuce did add a nice crunchy texture along with the onions that were packing some flavor. I enjoyed this enough to consider it one of my favorite go to fast food cheat meals, Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews *Review based on food only (to go order)

Ordered a ham and provolone with extra portions. Sub had no meat and 2 pieces of cheese. Better Bread Better Subs SUCKS! Arby’s slogan is what they need to follow! We have the meats! If I want a loaf of bread I’ll go to the bakery. I used to frequent Cousins monthly. Now it’s about twice a year and I have to pay extra for what used to be a regular order. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still very delicious but portions are lacking and I’m done eating loaves of bread. Adios Cousin’s , hello Jersey Mike’s and Subway.

First time the wife and I have ever been to a cousins, I ordered the bacon mushroom steak sub with cheese curds. Everything on my end was amazing, with the exception of the sauce I just didn’t care for it no fault to anyone just wasnt my taste. Cheese curds were perfection. The wife got a meatball sub that was terrible to say the least. Meatballs were cold and you know that little bit of watery sauce left over after some spaghetti that’s 90% water and 10% sauce that’s what the sub was covered in so much so it soaked the bread and turned it into mush. Iv seen 2 other reviews on the meatball sub being that way. Maybe it’s time to change the sauce/ heating style or just remove the sub entirely. We will be back to try some other menu items but the meatball sub is a total loss. A+ for the fountain drink set up. Love me some cherry...
