First time here and I’m already looking forward to coming back! We came on a busy weekend morning and waited about 30 minutes, but it wasn’t bad at all. I spent the time browsing the cute shop next door, which made the wait go by fast with my nephews and husband.
The staff was incredibly nice and patient with us, especially since we didn’t know they made their cream cheeses in house. One of the employees took the time to walk us through all the flavors and gave great recommendations.
I ended up getting the BLT + egg on a rosemary bagel with Mark’s Garden cream cheese and avocado, it was so good. The bagel was soft and herby, and the cream cheese was creamy, fresh, and packed with flavor.
My husband got the bacon, egg & cheese with bacon pepperoncini cream cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel with the bacon extra toasty, and he absolutely loved it. I stole a bite and it had the perfect kick with a rich, creamy finish.
For my nephews, we got them a cinnamon raisin glazed bagel with salted caramel cream cheese and a pb&j on a blueberry bagel, they both were a hit. The cinnamon raisin glazed bagel was soft, a little chewy, and had that cozy cinnamon roll vibe. The glaze gave it a nice little crunch, and with the salted caramel cream cheese, it was buttery, sweet, and just a little salty like dessert, but not over the top.
The blueberry bagel with peanut butter and strawberry jam was super nostalgic. The bagel had a light berry flavor and the combo tasted just like the PB&J sandwiches we grew up on, but a little fancier.
We got both for the kids as a treat after their meal, you know how they never finish a full bagel anyway. I only meant to sneak a bite… but ended up going back for more 🫣 Might just order these for myself next time 😆
All the bagels were really soft, the cream cheeses were full of flavor, and the vibes were great. Next time, I’m most definitely picking up a dozen of bagels to take home, along with a few of their 8oz tubs of cream cheese. My nephews are starting to crave them and I dont blame them...
Read moreThe most Fing AMAZING bagels I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and ask the staff for their pairing recommendations. Try everything! I love their Cinnamon Raisin bagels too.
I was working an extra shift on a Sunday and wanted lunch. I don't have a lot of time. My mind instantly went to Whidbey Bagels. They're close to work and always quick! I wanted to try something different this time so I picked up the menu and saw their chicken curry salad sandwich described with pecans and cranberries. Exactly the amount of different I was looking for. I wasn't sure which bagel to get it on tho so I asked the staff. She recommended the black olive and fresh basil... I thought "Oooh, that sounds exotic and Fing delightful!" and I think I said something like, "Oooh! that sounds good! Thank you!" I pay and always tip well because I can see how hard they're working to get us patrons served quickly.
I have a seat on a barstool and watch the baker make their fresh bagels on the assembly line while I listen to hip hop playing in the background and their staff singing along. People coming and going nonstop and ... 2 minutes later I hear the bell and my name. "Jenny!"
I walk away with my little bag of heaven and say goodbye to nobody and everybody.. thinking about my lunch in my mouth the entire time.
I sit in my car and take a bite. O...M...G.... this IS THE BEST bagel I've ever eaten in my entire 39 years of life! Slightly crispy and salted to perfection on the outside, chewy, herby, fresh, and warm. And the salad! Curry chicken with pecans and cranberries. I can't even. A perfect combo!
My go to breakfast/lunch meal is a bacon, egg, and cheese on jalapeno cheddar from Whidbey Coffee. They're amazing too. I should have known, they're also made by Whidbey Bagels.
Always fast. Always fresh. Always kind. And super affordable! They will...
Read moreThe sandwiches are good and the staff are nice but I expect that to change thanks to the dictatorship that is the management. I have heard numerous stories from many hard working friends that the owner of the establishment is nothing but rude. He has told staff that they are too slow and you can tell that all of them are trying their hardest. One of my friends was fired for attempting to not come in to work due to her having a 101 fever. FIRED. I don’t know about you all but I don’t trust an establishment that fires employees for just being sick. From what I heard she was told to get a doctor’s note and then proceeded to be let go the next day. And if you think the owner or manager cares about you, don’t worry, they do not. After messing up someones order, one of the staff refunded them, but was scolded by management for doing so.I suggest anybody interested in getting a decent breakfast go LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. In my opinion Noe Jose is far better AND...
