Wendy's — Restaurant in Oak Park Heights

WOW. 1st time I've ever had employees argue & TELL me what I ordered after I had to drive back around when they got my son's order wrong. We ordered 3 of the $5 biggie bag meals. Comes with either a chicken sandwhich or burger, plus 4 chicken nuggets, fried & a drink. We asked for a chicken sandwich for my youngest, a Jr. Bacon cheeseburger for my oldest, & the double stack for me. While taking the order, the gal asked after each meal what kind of dipping sauces for each one. After paying, then parking to check if they got everything correct (a must with any fast food place), we discovered they gave us two chicken sandwiches & one burger. When we pulled back around, there were multiple workers now standing at the window telling us they gave us what we asked for. When I explained that I most certainly knew what I ordered for each of us, the gal at the window argued that there were 5 employees that all heard us order two chicken sandwiches & that we were the ones in the wrong! WHAT? They finally reluctantly gave us the right burger (which made me nervous to eat). After all that, I was handing out the meals & discovered they failed to put the right amount of sauces in, after they specifically asked what kind of sauces we wanted for each meal. Save yourself the stress & DON'T GO HERE!!!! Absolute worst service I have ever had in 40 years of eating out. When there's an issue nobody can help you as they don't speak a word of English (or at least pretend that way) even the female "manager" could not remedy the issue as she could only say "you can cancel"! )... The worst part is online orders~ such a complete hassle!!! This restaurant does NOT cancel or refund items they are out of. Nor can you cancel it in the App on your end once they mark it "processed". The manager literally just stole $15 in French toast sticks I prepaid for in the Wendy's App bcuz they were out of them and REFUSED to refund us or give us different food items to make up the total!!! She kept saying "you can cancel " but I tried and it said "this order has already processed and cannot be cancelled" then the cancel button disappeared. Place is not clean at all. Went there in 5/31/2025 at 2 in the afternoon, to dine in. At the counter it had dried something on it, not just a stain but organic. You could see parts of the counter that someone tried to clean with what had to be a dirty rag that must have have been used in the kitchen to clean around the fryer. The floor, well the wife and I found no where we could walk without out shoes sticking to the floor. The tables were filthy, and so we just left, did not ask for a refund or grab our food. Besides for the workers, we were the only ones in the restaurant - so busy was not a factor as to why the place looked like it did. Never have we walked into a Wendy's and it looked this way in 40+ years. We will not ever be going to the Stillwater, MN...
