Happy's Pizza — Restaurant in Oak Park

Ordered from Happy's for years and never had an issue until now. I ordered 3 items, two subs and a salad. I called my order in for pick up; the order should have been ready in "15 minutes." I arrived 20 to 25 minutes later and was told to wait 5 minutes. No problem. I waited about 10, until I was told that the delivery man took my two subs and that two new ones would be prepared. I was offered a complimentary 2 liter pop. I walked out of the restaurant to inform my mother, who was waiting in the car, of the situation. I returned shortly after seeing the delivery man arrive. I was given my salad and the original subs that were taken.

I was unaware that the subs weren't fresh until I arrived at home. Shame on me for not checking. Both the fries and the sandwich themselves were less than lukewarm. Fresh food would have undoubtedly been hot, or warm to say the least. I am very dissatisfied with Happy's. Between the cashier and the delivery man, neither one was aware that my food had been taken until it was too late? For my, overall, 45 minutes spent at Happy's for 3 items I was offered a simple 2 liter pop? I hardly think that's adequate.

Not only did I wait longer for my food than I was told I had to, but I waited even longer just to be given old food when I was promised new food. Order was done online. The family ordered Howie's Pizza. However, Happy Pizza delivers also. I tried to explain to the delivery person who was a female that we had ordered Howie's Pizza, but since there was an error I explained to the young lady that I will go ahead and pay the $24 for the pizza. She was very rude and combative screaming in front of my house saying that she is not going to be responsible for the food I told her that I was going to pay for it since it was not their error, but she continued to be very rude I had to call management to explain the situation. I told him that I will pay for the food, and even give her a tip when she brings the order back. She didn't bring the order back, it was another individual a male who brought my order back, I would never order from Happy's Pizza again. The young lady even told me when entering her car that she wasn't going to eat the pizza nor pay for the pizza. She refused to listen to me that I was going to pay because it was not their error however she didn't listen because she was hollering and screaming in front of my house It was very disrespectful for my neighbors...

Was horrible they forgot the ranch that I made the woman on the phone repeat my order back to me 3 times. The deliver lady refused to walk up my apartment stairs and bring pizza to my residence me and my pregnant wife had to walk out to the parking lot to get the food. She had no change and I was forced to give a large tip that was almost at large as the pizza bill itself even though I stated on the phone to bring change I don't think change for a $50 is to much to ask for seeing as though my order was $30 n I asked for $10 back from $50 bill so I got stuck paying $20 tip on a $30 order I mean u have no change not $1 then they forgot ranch 2nd time they have done this call back they say that there's no one available to bring me the ranch then they say that my total for the ranch will be $12 even though I already payed and they never showed up even after I was willing to pay for my ranch twice manager was rude I believe he was foreign I had trouble understanding as he yelled at me as if I did something wrong anyway bad 👎 👎 place do not order...
