From the moment I placed my order, I kind of expected my order to be incorrect. Really disappointed. The girl who took my order sounded confused, and asked me to repeat myself 4 or 5 times. Saw this place on IG, drove almost 30mins to get there, just to try their Al Pastor as that was one of the main items featured in the reel. It was closing soon so I ordered to go. Ordered 2 taco bowls (1 Al Pastor, 1 Steak), 2 LG horchatas and 2 plain steak tacos. When I picked up the food, the guy at the register was nice, answered a few questions I had about the menu and parking. So the service was fine when I picked up the order. However, Didn't get the tacos at all Got small drinks instead of LG The Al Pastor meat was cold, inedible cold.
Couldn't go back since they closed shortly after but I called and told them about the missing food and the cold food. Forgot to mention the wrong drink size.
Since I paid cash and they were closed, the girl who took my information when I called back, again sounded confused, she asked me the same questions 3 or 4 times, finally said they would refund me the money but since I would have to come back in person, they offered to remake the food then lastly took my name and number.
Inside the place itself looked clean. However the way the building is separated by that fence that encloses the parking lot, it's just annoying you have to walk around the block to get inside, especially if it's raining, like it was when I went.
Not sure I want the food anymore. I'll decide when I go back...
Read moreOverall the food was good. But I was a little irritated at the fact that the bathrooms were locked. I asked her could I used the bathroom after I placed my order and she kinda smiled and said she believes they are out of order. So I said dang I need to wash my hands. So I went back to the bathroom again and instead of going to the women’s I tried the men’s door which was locked as well but not locked shut so when I grabbed the handle it came open. It was soooo clean and smelled it like had not been used all day. I used the bathroom, and as I was washing my hands someone rattled the door knob. I didn’t say anything just finished up cause I was the only one in the lobby besides this distraught looking homeless guy. I left the bathroom and waited for my food. Then almost immediately a lady came from the back and went straight to the men’s door and grabbed the handle I guess trying to shut and lock it again. Soon after her the homeless man walked back there and was saying out loud.. “I just need to wash my hands I’m not gonna do nothing!” He was in and out in less then 20 secs. I figured they lied to me because of the guy. Just for that reason, I would never visit that place again if I was in that area again. Sad, because whatever money he had, he spent it with them. He ate and return the basket tray and just wanted to use the bathroom, that they apparently told him he...
