Bud's Farmhouse Coffee — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Two private chefs left our summer position in The Hamptons (see those reviews) and we are traveling back to Beverly Hills. Stayed in Oak Ridge Tenn and found Bud's!! What a find!!!! After a summer of inconsistent and mostly bad coffee at Joe's in Amaganset it was truly a blessing to find this place. Atmosphere very quit and relaxing the cafe was very stylishly appointed. Now the food, the build on everything was amazing, fantastic overnight oats, blueberry muffin was NOT from Costco and very good, cinnamon roll the same, gooey and delicious. The breakfast egg and cheese (me) & sausage (my wife) very hardy, cheesy and good ingredients. The staff was very very cheery with warm smiles (especially short petite blond gal at the counter) and happy to explain their menu to people who were obviously out of town. Yes,.... we tend to stick it like a sore thumb in little towns like this. We are only here two days and we will for sure get on the road tomorrow with another breakfast sandwich from Bud's. Brunch at Bud's Farmhouse Coffee. I've been wanting to try a small cigar with my coffee for a while now, and have been looking for a real coffee house in my area. Bud's is a short walk, and even shorter drive. After seeing excellent reviews on Google Maps, this is the place. Small, cozy space with just enough seats and two outdoor tables. Awesome couple here, and perfect service. I told her I was going to sit out by my van and smoke a cigar with my breakfast, and she said she would be happy to bring it right out. When she delivered the food, she remarked this is going to make your day. She wasn't kidding. I live in a world of fast food breakfast sandwiches, and this is definitely not one of those. Basically melt in your mouth goodness. The cappuccino is the best I've ever had. I will take the cinnamon roll home for later.

Back on Monday morning. This time to experience the indoor setting. This place is lovely....

I love this place and i will keep coming back, i really only have a few complaints and they aren’t end of the world complaints. One please look at this bagel, where is the cream cheese? Whoever the new guy is in the morning (new to me i’ve only seen him recently) almost never puts cream cheese there are parts of this bagel with none. Disappointing since i ordered it with cream cheese lol. Second, when baristas are filling drinks they are filling them all the way which is great but when they put the lid on it’s too much liquid, it gets under the rim of the lid so my drink is dripping until i get to my desk at work, where i have to make a mess and remove the lid to dry the rim to stop it from dripping and then i’m able to enjoy my drink, which i love (the drink not the drip). Lastly, i just wish there was more comfortable seating available, i love coffee shops to hang out and read in, or work on something and there is no soft seating available. staff is always 10/10, i do love this place genuinely just a few points to provide...
