This should be higher, but this morning Dutch Bros did not do well. Their coffee is great. I pulled up this morning behind a car at the window. NOBODY was outside helping get orders in and people out to work. When I pulled up I noticed who I assumer was the manager or a manager at the window talking to the car in front of me. I noticed 2-3 people inside standing having conversation and drinks. After 8 minutes I was still sitting there watching this man, older guy with glasses and a mustache I believe, still talking to the car in front of me. Never acknowledged me. The 2-3 employees were still having their conversations and drinks. A guy walked from around the side with coffee so apparently somebody was working getting folks coffee. The guy at the window passed a straw to the car in front, kept talking. Maybe the car in front was waiting on coffee.....that took 8 minutes to brew??? Seems that stuff should be ready when you open. I am not sure what was taking so long or why, if they were waiting, they were not redirect to park so the other customers could be waited on and get to work. By now there was 2 other cars behind me. I backed up a little bit and left, but as I left I laid on my horn. That seemed to work since as I got to the street to go to work without the coffee I waited 8 minutes for, I looked back and saw an employee come out to help those that were behind me. Glad I could help them out. Dutch Bros...you are a business. You have customers. We are there to get coffee and go, not have 8 minute conversations. Starbuck's is quicker. Read moreThis was my first time visiting ANY Dutch Bros Coffee location...I injured my knee and thought I would be better off going through a "drive - through" for a cup of coffee, versus hobbling around when I got home in an attempt to FIX a cup. First off.. the menu gives minimal information about the different drinks, but what really bothered me was that there were no prices posted. Then I got to the window, and the young man there was nice enough...he was in a mighty hurry, though (I was the only customer at the moment...6:30 on a Saturday morning.) I ordered a medium hot coffee with cream and a "muffin top"...the girl filling the cup informed us both that "the cup may be large, she was only putting a medium drink in it." She put the lid on and walked away. All that as quick as it took to say it. While she was doing this...he shoved a FROZEN " muffin top" out the window at me, while telling me how much it came to...I handed my credit card to him and then abruptly he shoved an electronic device out the window and asked me to choose a tip...I felt like I had five questions that had already been passed by and now I was being put on the spot for a tip!? Before I realized what I had done, I touched the $2 tip box and the whole thing was over and he was gone. Read moreToday, I visited the Dutch Bros in Oak Ridge and while I generally receive pretty good service there aside from the wait because they are so friendly and personable (which I’m not saying is a bad thing, but when you’re in a hurry it can be a pain). But today one employee named Will, really provided exceptional service! Will, who was outside working in the rain taking orders was an absolute ray of sunshine on this otherwise dreadfully gloomy day. He was VERY pleasant and upbeat when he came to my vehicle (in the rain) to take my order. I expressed my day was going horrible, I was frazzled and in a bit of a hurry but really needed a tea. He was personable and said he hoped my day got better. Then proceeded to the car waiting behind me. After taking the order of the car behind me, instead of resting for a moment, he ran into the building to see if my tea was done and ran it back out to my car so I would not have to wait for the cars ahead of me. The level of compassion and empathy and superb customer service he displayed was out of this world and definitely made my day immediately better!...
