I love Jersey Mike's. I'm on the road a good bit. And JM is quick, easy and the food is good. Until I stopped into this location. The food was decent. The service was mediocre. The restaurant was filthy. I was totally ignored while the staff laughed and joked with a friend that had dropped in. After about 5 minutes or so (when they were done chatting) I was acknowledged and placed my order. The worst part was the lack of cleanliness. I had a long way to go and was in a bit of a hurry. That's why I didn't just leave and go elsewhere. The prep counter was filthy. Covered with remnants of past sandwich prep. The floors were filthy. The knives were covered in condiments. The staff apologized for getting mustard on my sandwich when they cut it. Then they just wrapped it up and handed it to me. I return to this area quite frequently. I won't be returning to this location. Very disappointed. Due to how this place was managed. I'll be interested to see if I get a response from this review. For some reason I...
Read moreCame in, even though they were open it felt like I had arrived at a bad time. Stood for awhile, ignored for a little. The employees were making eye contact to see who would be the one to take the order. In the end they could not make my order to busy doing other things. Now you know that I know I'm the bad guy for being slightly upset that I came in to a place that as of yet had any business. You think that at least they would want one person to come in and order, you know spend some money to help pay to keep the establishment open, and help on the payroll but apparently not. I left. Yes I could have bowed down and took it like a good little consumer in this day and age and ordered another sanwhich, but I didn't want another sanwich. So guess what I went to another sub shop and spent my money. They took it quite greedily I have to say, and with a smile. The 3 stars is for your sanwhiches, they are good. Had to go sub par where I felt my time and money were a little more...
Read moreI think the people and food are good at Jersey Mike's. Please take this advice constructively. The floors need attention where the customers eat. I notice the floors were yellowed and streaked. I know your employees mop the floor ,but if you put commercial grade laminate floor down,it would make it easier to mop and look a lot better. I am a floor tech and have worked with polished concrete flooring and it requires regular buffing of the floors. Also concrete flooring yellows easier because it is a porous floor, which means anything that spills on the floor absorbs in the concrete flooring. The reason I am bringing this problem to your attention is because appearance means everything in a sub shop.I was told that the first few feet your customers enter your business, they get a perspective on how clean you keep your business whether your food is good or bad. This is not saying Jersey Mike's is bad, just needs remodeling of the floor. Have a...
