Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Overall I know it's new. That being said. My wife and I ordered fish baskets with their new waffle fries and slaw and got a cheese cake. Everything but the fries were great and we had something wrong with a couple of our 5 piece fish tasted worse than the others not sure how or why exactly just know it didn't taste as good or the same. Fries would've been great had they been hot and not old. The lady and drive through was rather short and rude I get it it's packed and busy but customer service with a smile I've worked it I get it but still I wasn't rude no need to be rude and short I even tried to make her smile and she was still short and rude. Couldn't go in it was absolutely packed also making the parking lot a nightmare to maneuver, but I will say over all we got our food pretty quick and line didn't take long to move. Not the worst but not the best imo. May change to 4 stars if things change when we go back cause we will it wasn't bad enough to push us away. But customer service is important and needs work me and the wife are kind people who try to make others smile and happy so if customer service is bad no matter how good the food is it's never as good as it could be if someone kills your mood...

Food was awful. Ordered Fish Tacos which I have ate before from Monticello Kentucky location and they were extremely good,ask for them at Oak Ridge location and lady at register said which ones would you like and she named off 3 different ones and I said I didn't know you have different ones but I dont want any that's spicy or hot so she said okay. We get our $70 order for 3 people and the fish tacos I couldn't eat they were spicy and extra hot,she gave me the Baja flavored ones,I tried to eat one and I literally bit into something that tasted uncooked, I looked at the receipt and I was shocked 4 tiny fish tacos were almost $16. The rest of the food was decent and edible but far from what we get at the Monticello location. Needless to say fish tacos were trashed. I will never go back and eat at the Oak Ridge location again. It might have just been a bad visit for me and everyone will be delighted eating there I can only share my experience. If you do go...

We were excited to hear that Long John Silver was opening in Oak Ridge and went there for take-out on a Friday night. The people were great and the service wasn't bad considering it was Friday night and there were lots of people there. The fish and hush puppies were great, but they seriously need to step up on their sides. We did not get the waffle fries because, well, we don't like waffle fries, and we passed on the green beans since fast food places don't usually do them well. We settled on rice and corn. The rice was nothing to write home about, and the corn was truly terrible. It had a weird plastic taste and texture and we stopped with one bite. We didn't have the slaw, but I've had it at other locations and it's usually good. So next time we'll probably just get the fish and pass on the sides--maybe go on down the road and pick up some real fries at...
