African-American old lady working there needs to find a new job or retire ASAP. I came to this store for the first time and instead of being greeted, i was yelled “white or wheat” by this lady. I replied in confusion “herb and cheese”, because that the is only bread I like. The lady got even more rude and replied back “you are clearly not listening, if we had herb and cheese i would have said it”, and asked me again even more angry “white or wheat”. I got so upset, and I asked the lady it she was okay, or if i had offended her somehow??? She then replied: “this is how i am, this is how i speak, nobody can’t change the way I am. So there you go Subway, she admitted that she is rude and that shes fine with being rude because thats the way she is. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life. I should had walk out and never paid for my sandwich, but I did. I work in customer service as well, and it bothers me how other employees treat you bad even though you are being polite to them. In the end, I never ate my sandwhich. The whole situation and horrible treatment by this lady made my appetite go away. I should have read the previous google reviews before going to this location. There is a bunch of customers complaining about this rude lady for months. I wonder why no action has been taken. Avoid this location unless you want to be humiliated, treated horribly and yelled...
Read moreI am a frequent visitor of this store on OBT. It is May 7th around 5:20pm. This location is the one of the stores who participates in buy one and get one free. I placed 3 orders online and went there to pick them up. To avoid any confusion because they messed up my order last time. By the way, no one ever apologized to me last time. I talked very loudly and tried to get their attention because the music was on, and I was only customer there. I started saying thank you for their hard work and I wanted to give them a heads up of my orders. Neither of them acknowledged that I was talking to them. ( I was standing next to the cashiering register/ right in front of the lady who worked on my order) I guess they were pissed off because of my 3 orders. I didn’t make up this online deal and they should be at least be nice and curtsey to their customer. The male sub artist even argued back stating that he was busy making my food, if I don’t want them and he can stop making for them. I want to bring this matter to a supervisor so their employees can get more training. Read moreSo, I’ve been wavering about returning to Subway for a few months, as across the board subway has not been amazing of late. This location has sealed the deal. Let me start off by saying there was no greeting to me or any other customer that came in while we were there. The two staff members were so clearly annoyed that they would have to stop hanging out on their phones… And I had to repeat everything I said several times because in between my saying what I wanted on my sandwich, as this is a sandwich shop, they were having a conversation and continuing to hang out. I’ve never actually witnessed someone being so apathetic about making food for someone. It was almost like I had asked them to… I don’t know stop hanging out? Also, constantly being on your phone while you’re doing food, service is gross. No thank you, no anything upon leaving. I would love to tell you who these charming individuals were, but alas, no name tags. And I think that that’s for a reason. They want to be anonymous because they are absolutely not interested in doing any type of customer service.
