dissapointed is an understatement. This was my favorite dominican food restaurant because it was so different from the normal restaurants and was always fresh and very quick. I had celebrated my bday there last year. After a while of not going there these last couple of months I’ve been ordering from them every week or so and the food always good. The last time I ordered I literally was left stunned. My yucca fries were brown ( picture below) cheese sticks were browned and my Yaroa mixta had fries that had the taste of old or burnt oil. I simply couldn’t just let it go and I had gone to the restaurant. I tell the waitress what’s going on and she gets me the manager. The manager comes out I show him the yucca and the other things and he asks what do I want to be done. I tell him I simply just want it to be remade. This guy who has not an ounce of customer service tells me “well if I make it again you’re gonna complain that the oil is burnt and we’re just gonna go to the same place again” I was just in awe and literally just told him just give me my money then. No apologies were given, no responsibility taken, and no care. Also this restaurant is no longer ran by the original dominican owners. These people are either Colombian or South American and very different from the old mgmt. do not...

Where do I start…. I thought this was a restaurant aka an establishment where food is sold. So why would our server act surprised that we were ordering food at 630pm ? She was like are you sure want that ? And we all looked confused as to why she would ask that. So I asked her and she said it’s just people order earlier around lunch time . Which her answer was even more bizarre because if you don’t want to serve food then why give us food menus or you should have said something like we only serve appetizers after a certain time. I don’t know it was just weird overall because I’ve never gone to a restaurant and have the server looked confused at what we picked out from the menu. Then the steak comes out and it looked old! Not fresh at all. It was hard. Then no steak knife is given just a butter knife. I’m like what is going on. You simply can’t make this up. Everything was off. Place is nice except for the plastic fold up chairs and plastic folding tables they had us sit in. I’m like hey look I have these in my back yard lol smh. Funny enough the place was empty we were the only ones there. There were other nicer tables but we were not sat at any of them. So to summarize Just don’t expect much and if you do go just go...

Paradise Food and Bar is a small but quaint restaurant with a great, friendly ambiance! They have Latin food, and it was pretty good! I ate grilled chicken with 2 sides, and it was $15.00. They have popular music playing in the background as well as live music and karaoke nights. The restroom was very clean. The bartender, waiters, and waitress were attentive without being overbearing. I forgot my pink umbrella, and they were nice enough to hold it for me and return it. If you just want to be able to eat and talk, I suggest you go around 6:00 pm because approximately around 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm it gets full and the music gets louder and more lively! They also have 3 small tables with chairs outside, so if you are a smoker, it's a great area to relax while still being able to listen to the music. I definitely recommend Paradise Food and Bar, and I plan on going...

A hidden gem of flavorful Dominican / Puertorican food. We went due to our Ritz Carlton credit card promo…, but almost left since at lunch time there was nobody there… Glad we entered. The service is friendly casual (thanks Angelica) and the food is truly the Real Thing; high quality juicy Bistec Encebollado with a delightful Rice & Beans. The extra side of Mofongo was also delicious (needed a bit of salt). My wife had their Paradise Rice which is SPECTACULAR. Don’t miss it. Had it all with well-made fresh lemonade and passion fruit Parcha juices. We will be back for takeout as well. Prices are reasonable; they will charge for use of credit card though. Seems that at night is more of a karaoke club, but don’t miss the food.
