A few weeks before I purchased my car, I posted in social media that If I had to choose between going to a dealer for a new car or going to the dentist.... I would choose the dentist. It's just that I have a high tolerance for pain - but not so much for salespeople. So after getting pre aproved by a credit union, and researching prices, dealerships, vehicles and making myself dizzy with an information overload, I knew I had to step out and face the dreaded dealership experience.Via internet, I made contact with this dealer and made an appointment. So off I went to Universal Hyundai which was out of my area but they had the best internet price for what I was looking for. And once I got there they gave me Jinny Minn as my sales consultant. I showed her my printout with the Accent I wanted, the price and specifications straight from their website and she went out to look for the car. This girl is so special, that after a while she came back to the lobby and had me get in a car with her to search the lot form one end to the other. I didn't have to sweat or walk endlessly. I ended up choosing the one we were riding, an Accent 2017 and I stayed within my planned budget. If there is a car dealership in heaven, then Jinny is going to be selling cars for eternity, because she is unique, sharp, warm, approachable, pure dynamite and at the same time an angel. There I said it! Universal even dealt with my credit union after they gave me some conflicting information regarding the interest rate and I ended up with a perfect deal thanks to their intervention. This was a pain free transaction and I will recommend Universal Hyundai to any one in need of a car, as well as recommending Jinny as a smooth operator. She even offered to re program my husband's Sonata GPS via cell that was malfunctioning that day. Customer service doesn't get any beter than that! I was barely advised on what was the best vehicle for me and I was released out unto the car lot to see what looked nice to me and took it from there. Not Universal Nissan. At Universal Nissan, when my husband and I walked into those doors, Sales Consultant, Nandy Reyes greeted us not as if we were a Not number, but as a friend we haven't visited in a while. We all talked as though we were catching up on "old times!" I've never seen such respect. He made us feel like no one else existed. I bluntly told him if we didn't buy on the day we walked in, we were going to return and buy something. We did just that. We weren't forced or guilted into getting a vehicle, but allowed to have a choice. He FOUGHT for us, spoke to who he needed to help us and helped to get what was the best vehicle for us. I may be writting a book about my experience with Universal Nissan, but that's how PLEASED my husband I were. I stay almost an hour away from Universal. Mind you, there is a Nissan dealership near where I live. However, I was referred to come to Universal and by coming, it has been a blessing. When services are needed on my vehicle I could go to the dealership near my home, but when you developed a friendship at a company, why walk away. I will make effort to go to Universal. Read moreMy mother and I were in need of a car desperately for work and doctor's appointments. We went to Universal Nissan for our first stop because my brother also purchased his car from them. We were greeted luckily by Raymond Mieses, one of their sale associates and I'm glad he was the one that helped us. Raymond took his time to show us all the cars that we were curious about from front lot to the back one. He took his time to explain differences and similarities and was very helpful from the start. we found a car that my mom was happy with and definitely wanted the most from all the cars there but we weren't sure if it was in our price range. After going inside Raymond worked with us to figure out how we could get the price that we wanted for the car that My mom loved. He took his time negotiating a better deal for us using all the avenues possible. I was not expecting to get this car for the price that we could afford yet he made it happen. Thanks to him I am able to go to work without worrying about my car breaking down and also now my mom can go to her doctor's appointments without any stress.
