Let me start by saying that I usually rate 1 star when the food does not meet what I expect. Have in mind this is my personal liking and everyone is different. Why 3 stars, because of the customer service. Waitress was very nice but the General manager on duty was exceptional. Never seen another red lobster manager come to our table and check up on their guest. This manager was on top of everyone and overseen tables . Amazing smile that brought our issues with our food to an understanding . I usually come here for my birthday or mother's day . But today it crossed my mind to rate it . Below I attached some of the food we ate and some things that weren't great at all . My mother ordered the crab fest and crispy garlic potatoes . It came with burnt potatoes . I ordered the endless shrimp. It was good but the linguini was overcooked and the rice was undercooked very hard little pieces of rice . Food is usually great here. Still this is a franchise and every red lobsters has different cooks with different seasonings to their cooking . Let us just enjoy the quality time with the family . I will still come here. It's my favorite place just today they failed .

Went to Red Lobster for a late lunch with my family 2 weeks ago. It's Red Lobster-the McDonald's of seafood, but you get what you expect. My wife and I each ordered the mussels in white wine. When they came out, about half were unopened. Our waitress was sympathetic, and was off to tell her manager -(KP?) I seem to remember. She came back to the table and told us that the manager said mussels were 'safe to eat' - because the vendor used some kind of pasteurizing process - something like that. Good. They were safe. So, they sat in a separate dish until we finished the 'open' ones. I asked the waitress as we left to please show the plate to the cook. She said she would. I noticed that one of the two mussel orders were removed from the bill, and I appreciated that. I wouldn't even have taken the time to write this, had a manager come over, spent 30 seconds with me and took away the unopened mussels. I guess it wasn't worth their time.

The food was absolutely superb. Every bite was better than the previous. I mean it's Ree Lobster, they know how to do seafood. The presentation was fantastic (check out the photos). The problem (or issue) we had was you're expected to pay via a tablet that is left on the table from start to finish. Why are we not able to pay through our server? If you expect us to do your work, are you going to give us an employee discount? Get rid of the tablet and give the service you are renowned for. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Location is very easy to get to and easily accessible. We were greeted right away as we walked and there was no wait. Our server was so nice, patient and very helpful. We really liked her. The food was absolutely superb. Every bite was better than the previous. I mean it's Ree Lobster, they know how to do seafood. The presentation was fantastic (check out the photos). The problem (or issue) we had was you're expected to pay via a tablet that is left on the table from start to finish. Why are we not able to pay through our server? I was in this location for 40 minutes to pick up a to go order. The terrible attitude of the girl who finally brought out my food, should not be serving. The minute I walked in I asked the hostess where I should pick up to go order and they directed me to the bar, didn’t specify who to ask so when I got to the bar I went to where several wait staff were chit chatting. All of which took note of my presence then turned backs to me so I then said “excuse me, I was directed here to pick up an order?” As if they couldn’t hear me they all walked away when 1 very nice young lady said sure who’s it for? She went to check and came back and said yep it’s ready they will have it out shortly for you. So I waited and after another 15 minutes went by and several wait staff back and and fourth I finally said something again because now I was worried the food would be getting cold by this time. I asked another wait member and she ever so rudely said “yeah well there’s only one person and lots of to go orders” I didn’t say a word. Shocked because during that 15-20 minutes I waited for my supposed ready food, at least 10 staff walked back and fourth empty handed. You mean to tell me none of them could help bag up food quickly? Then another 10 minutes later a girl with short chin length hair tucked behind her ears with the worst attitude I’ve ever seen came out and asked what we were waiting for? My jaw dropped and I was speechless and I said uhm like 35 minutes ago someone already told me it was ready and would be out shortly so I’m confused why you’re asking this? She repeated herself. After she went to the back I assumed I would be good to go in less then 1 minute. Nope another 15 minutes went by before she finally brought it out. This is the absolute worst customer service I have seen in any restaurant! I’ve never sat here and ordered a meal and you’re damn right I never will either! I am completely disgusted with the piss poor attitudes I saw here tonight. I will never even set foot back in this place ever again. Whoever the manager is for this location, you got a lot of work to do and a lot of attitude adjustments to fix. The chick with short hair who finally brought out my food, she needs to either take a course on customer service or get the boot because the way she treated me tonight is absolutely ridiculous...

Food was excellent but the service was HORRIBLE - we waited over 20 min. and no waitress no water no nothing, we were ready to leave. Finally a bus person took our drink order and dinner order and told us she would find our waitress - well she tried - my son went to the restroom and heard the waitress she tried to get to help us say it's not my table, but guess what it was. The bus person brought our drinks and as she was bringing them the waitress then took them and put them on the table. Then our food did arrive by the food server, no sign of waitress - drinks gone - no waitress - never even walked by table so we could find her - finally she stopped asked if we wanted another drink - yes my son did - we continue to eat we are finally done - still no drink that was ordered and no waitress. This was my Mother's day dinner and we went just last night - so no they were NOT busy. Finally my son goes to the hostess stand to complain and low and behold the waitress brings the drink with totally melted ice and plops it on the table - we are totally done and it is obvious. I tell her oh no you don't. We want the bill and that drink will NOT be on the bill and she just looks at me. I said he ordered that over 10 - 15 min ago and we will not pay for that and she just looks at me and says I can't do that and I said OH YES YOU CAN. My son then appears with the manager and I voice my great displeasure and said I have never had such horrible service and the waitress will be getting no tip at all. If it was not for the bus person we would have had no food and no drink at all. We gave the bus person a cash tip and stiffed the waitress and the manger did remove the two drinks. There was no excuse for the total non service from the waitress and I am very thankful for that very consciousness bus person for going above and beyond what her job was - she even apologized when we tipped her for not checking back and I told her that was not her job we just appreciated all she did. The food was good, but when you have such bad service it really takes away from the experience. The manager apologized for the bad service, and did remove the non received drink and one other drink...

BEWARE: Stay Away From This Place

Was present at Red Lobster-Oakdale yesterday night at 8PM for dinner with my husband and toddler. We were seated right by the kitchen entry (just lovely!), the location was not ideal especially when we had a highchair in the walkway (just common sense!), therefore we moved ourselves one booth down. The place was filthy with shrimp and lobster shells on the ground... many employees walked by but no one stopped to pick them up... My 2yr old couldnt help it but cont. to point and kept asking "Mom, whats that?" Our food came out quickly but there were endless mistakes! From the kids menu, we got fries instead of fruit; we got ranch dressing on the salad instead of blue cheese; they steamed the extra lobster tail we ordered when it was suppose to be grilled; I had ordered the "Shrimp & Lobster Overboard" and the presentation was horrid looking nothing like the picture on the menu, there was hardly a bed a rice and they forgot the broccoli. Wow, what a night of mishaps!!! We finished our meal racking up an easy bill over $100, tipped our server $20(bc she was really nice or so we thought...) and went home. You wouldve thought that was the end of it... but today I noticed my credit was charged 2X (no wonder we waited so long(!)...)!!! My credit card did show one charge was refunded, but the server didnt inform us of the mistake she made during transaction and all she said said was "Sorry, it took so long. My manager needed to do it...". Very unprofessional on the servers and management, someone should have came out and informed us of the error.

Terrible management of the restaurant as a whole (staff including servers and management, kitchen, housekeeping). Much improvement needed in all areas. There's plenty of other options in the area, I highly DO NOT recommend this establishment. Tip: If you insist on going, check your credit card...
