My wife and I decided to stop by Tous Les Jours Café after noticing the Soft open - Now Open sign out front. As soon as we walked in, we could tell it was a nice bakery. The place is clean, bright, and really well put together. You can tell they paid attention to the details with how everything is displayed and organized. They have a great variety of pastries, and everything looks freshly made. We tried a few different ones, including the strawberry croissant and the garlic cheese croissant, and they were both really good, soft, buttery, and full of flavor. They also offer drinks, sandwiches, and a few grab-and-go options if you’re in a hurry. There’s plenty of seating, and the setup makes it a comfortable place to sit down and relax for a bit. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially for it being their soft opening. Overall, it was a great first visit. The pastries were delicious, the space felt welcoming, and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

When you walk in, there’s a sign instructing you to grab a tray and tongs for your items. I think this is such a good method! Sometimes at bakery’s where pastries are behind the counter I panic when asked for my order or feel rushed to pick quicker than I’d like to. This relaxed method of picking your items yourself allowed me to try so many more items than I usually would! Everything in the photo only cost me $20. Having been to plenty of bakeries in downtown Minneapolis - the prices for these amazing pastries is a fantastic deal! Everything was delicious, and you could absolutely tell it was freshly baked. I plan to go back soon to try even more of these items - I had to stop myself from buying more but there’s so much I want to try!
