You know what is a total treat? Being able to get a reliable coffee beverage early in the morning in YOSEMITE! While all the other food choices are mostly the work of Aramark and therefore somewhat bland, this is Peet's Coffee. I may prefer Starbucks but Peet's comes in a close second. This is located in what used to be Coffee Corner in the Curry Village dining area. It had a bit of a line but it moved fast and I had my iced tuxedo mocha with an extra shot in less than 10 minutes. The employees were cheery and helpful...and my coffee was superb. The only reason I give it 4 stars is due to the fact that it's located in Curry Village...which means if you're at the Ahwahnee like I was or the Yosemite Lodge you're gonna need to walk, bike or drive. It only took me 10-15 minutes of strolling through the most beautiful place on earth to get the morning drink I was craving.

It took well over an hour of our time to wait in line to get coffee. It was good. We also got a muffin. This took away an hour of our sightseeing in the park. For day 2, we bought a starbucks cold brew from the shop in El Portal and drank that. This was a Saturday morning in early August.

If you really need something more than black coffee, this is your only option in Curry Village. Pete's Coffee is the store inside the coffee corner. There is a small seating area inside. There is usually a very long line of addicted coffee drinkers. Coffee here is very expensive.

Visited three mornings Tuesday 11th October to Thursday. Coffee good quality. Main issue is length of time to serve - each visit taking approx 30 mins for takeaway despite the line being being a modest 7-8 people long. Staff were cheery, though seeming as if they were on vacation themselves, quite unaware of the line of customers waiting to be served. There were three on duty initially, though apparently not able to fit the third employee into the serving routine. Third member seemed to act as a distraction rather than helping. There are two machines though the staff do not seem interested in running even one at normal capacity. On each visit staff allowed individuals to skip the queue and receive drinks un paid for. No issue with freebies for other employees but during a rush this felt quite tone deaf to permit skipping. Two employees on the Wednesday were playing games on their phones - loudly reacting to the others in-game actions while they paused coffee making to respond. With a large early morning queue of waiting customers this bordered on sketch comedy - serious lack of awareness and a complete disregard for customer service.

We returned each day as this is the only place to get coffee. My interpretation of matters is that there must not be a manager on site. I think this job in this location must be quite appealing to those interested in hospitality, and I am surprised they haven't been able to attract staff with more...

Awful! A bad ordering system and even worse staff. None of them look like they'd had much sleep, or a wash, for days.

Some kid, that sort of worked there, with long hair and glasses was playing loud music and dancing like an idiot, while people, who had travelled around the globe, waited for this fool to make a coffee. We were there almost an hour. He let his friends jump a massive line of customers and thought it was funny that the customers were annoyed by it. With maybe 20 people left waiting for drinks the long haired glasses kid gave up making coffee leaving a stressed out hungover looking girl on her own. She was almost in tears and left to do all the work.

It may have been a bad day for him, but from what I saw he's a bad colleague, bad employee, bad dancer, has bad taste in music and is bad at making coffee.

Yosemite is out of this world, but this coffeeshop is not the way to start any of your days in the beautiful Yosemite valley. We had a much better all around experience in the, just as busy, Starbucks further up the valley. A cool guy, with devil horns starting to grow in his head, made us a...

On Tuesday August 15, 2023 at approximately 0937 hours, at the Peets in Curry Village, Yosemite, California I ordered 2 Large hot coffees with milk, 1 Croissant and 1 large hot Cocoa with milk. I was served the hot coffee and Croissant almost immediately. However, I had to wait almost 30 minutes to receive my hot Cocoa (which was for my daughter). Meanwhile, my coffee which was meant to be drunk together with my breakfast and family, became cold. I told the person making the drinks that I almost waited 30 minutes, and he stated that I need to be more patient. I also watched as another customer who was standing at the counter and watching him make the drinks was indirectly told, (the same batista told an employee that just got back from break), don't they know it's rude to stare doesn't matter where you are from I read that. At approximately 1005 hours I received my hot Cocoa. I am stunned by the slow unprofessional and hosttile towards foreigners behavior displayed by the company. At this point I am dissatisfied with my purchase and experience, and my coffee that had...
