I had a terrible experience at Ben’s Fast Food in Oakland. After placing my order, I received a message saying it was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, they asked me to check in, only to tell me they were just starting to prepare my order. This process took an additional 15 minutes.
It was incredibly disappointing because I had already waited 20 minutes before arriving, trusting that my food was ready as stated in the message. Instead, my time was completely wasted. I called customer service to cancel the order, but they said they couldn’t cancel it, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.

Between the chicken mixed bowl and a cup of the dark chocolate cashew pudding I paid $14.22 with taxes. A few minutes after putting my order I got the notification that my food was ready for pick up. Parking was easy and my order was perfect: fresh, pickled, and steamed veggies, grains, tender and flavorful chicken and a creamy lemon thyme dressing. The pudding is decadent!
