This was a typical location for me to patronize for busy days. The service is usually fine, today being the exception. I went through the drive-thru this morning and there was a man sitting next to the order speaker. I did not feel comfortable ordering at the speaker for this reason, so I proceeded to the drive-thru menu and explained this to the worker (a lady) that came to the menu. Oakland is a crime ridden city, and I do what I can to keep me and my family safe. I have been aggressively approached in the past, and I do not like confrontation, so I do my best to avoid potential situations that could put my safety at stake. The worker was extremely hostile and upset that I came to the window without first ordering. Due to her uncaring, and unkind demeanor I left and took my money elsewhere, and will continue to do so in the future. I do understand her position, but her delivery needs work. My coins aren't a lot, but I was spending around $250 a month at this location. I will miss the convenience, but I will not...
Read moreBecause of the hour I was there......9:00pm on a Wednesday......, the service was a little slow, but the food, surprisingly, was actually hot! And not like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something. But then again, these are COVID times, so there's not as much rush as would be under normal circumstances. Also, I didn't order that much food, and they routinely run out of some menu items.
One thing they do need to fix is their menu board!! For the longest time, the far right of the board didn't even list any items. Now it does, but the light above it is out, so it makes it difficult to read. Plus the angle of the board really needs to be adjusted ASAP!!! The way it is angled, you can't read the right half of the menu board since it doesn't face you where you're stopped to place your order. If you move a little further to read that part of the menu, then the speaker gets...
Read moreOnly come midday, weekdays unless u enjoy rudeness. No light on the menu board which is after the speaker. Prices don't correlate to what they actually charge you and when you point it out they say, "Well that's the price." (That was a manager?!) If I say no, they would have to 'throw it away' which would be a complete waste of food vs making a customer happy over 33¢ (somehow I feel they would just repackage anyway.) You can't read your receipt (if u even get one) and this has been the same printer for over 9months!!! Asked for mayo...out for months. Asked for some from the grill, "can't do that." You can put it on my sandos but u can't give me a side of it??? I'd go out of my way to go to Broadway if u like BK- they're friendly, cheaper, and competent. I'll probably just stop being lazy and make my own BETTER...
