Was excited to try this place as soon as I heard there was a Mexican Restaurant opening in this location. Finally, something in Oakland thatās not Italian/pizza.
Happy to report the food is great! Part of my family is Puerto Rican so I know good Spanish/Mexican food when I see it, and this definitely fits that description! It seems a bit expensive at first glance, but they give you generous portions, and the food is pretty filling.
I got the Gorditas El Pastor and my friend got Miguelās Bowl. We were both very pleased with our meal. The portions are big enough that we both had leftovers too!
Two thumbs up from me. I hope this business has success and sticks around for awhile, I know this location can be tough. Cant wait to go back and try more...

I prefer to give my business to local places, but this is just ridiculous. Pictures of the menu included...

The tacos and tacos dorados had almost nothing in them, so were over priced for what we received. Chanos delivers to this area, are roughly the same price and their food is on a completely different tier. While I love the idea of a local place with great Mexican, this just isnāt it. We may try again if they are around in a month, Iāll update the...
