Came here for weekend lunch and beer with friends and really enjoyed it.
Wonderful ambience and choice of indoor or outdoor seating.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The vibe was good like a dinner party feel where there's music and energy but you can still hear your own conversations.
The outdoor patio beer garden has a lot of long bench style tables with a "no pressure" feel to just pick a spot. It's also pet friendly so you can bring your dog and enjoy that downtime in the sun or shade.
Very tasty beers and a good variety on tap of their own brew as well as other beers from breweries listed as "friends" of Two Pitchers. I saw Wine at the bar as well but not sure if that's served everyday.
I started with the Baseline Lager and it really doesn't disappoint at all and for $3 Pint you can afford to give it a try...or 2.
I also tasted the Nordic Jam which was so unique and tasty to me that I had to buy a 6 pack and bring it home.
The beers are available to take home chilled and boxed in different varieties.
Easy First Timers Recommendation
Get a Baseline Lager at the outdoor bar (open a tab)* This is strategic if you want to enjoy a beer while waiting in line. Weekend lines for food can get long.
While sipping your lager, get in line at Lovely's on the same property and order a Fried Chicken sandwich and your favorite side.
Go to a table and keep enjoying your beer while you wait for your food.
After or during your meal, order a Nordic Jam or a Radler and compare and contrast to the Baseline...
Read moreI’ve generally enjoyed my visits here, always to pair with Lovely’s, they have a great beer selection and most bartenders are prompt and polite. However, I’ve had multiple concerning experiences with one tall male bartender whose behavior has been inappropriate and aggressive, particularly toward my female friends. On one occasion, he passed by with a cigarette in hand, pants sagging, and mumbled something incoherent that seemed directed at my friend. We initially dismissed it as a patron being surly and inappropriate, but shortly after, he approached her angrily, making excessively rude comments about not vaping. His large stature and hostile demeanor were physically intimidating, completely ruining our evening. On another visit, this same bartender, standing behind the bar, appeared visibly miserable and was rude to all three female patrons in my group, though not to me. This was despite my female friends going out of their way to be exceptionally nice, polite, and patient with him. He seemingly ignored them while promptly serving me, even when he wasn’t busy. His behavior also included throwing the payment terminal onto the counter when one of them went to close out. This uncalled-for aggressiveness, inappropriate comments, and general rudeness toward female patrons was shocking and disappointing. As a regular at Lovely’s, I strongly urge management to address this employee’s behavior, as their visibly apparent dislike for their job and hostile demeanor toward female customers significantly detract from...
Read moreI had visited Two Pitchers multiple times previously and had had excellent encounters with the staff—up until recently. On my latest visit, I had been informed, to my surprise, while I could not enter since there had been an incident involving someone else—a friend of mine—on a particular evening when I had not attended. I felt the whole thing to be utterly unfair and unprofessional.
What made the situation worse was the attitude of the bartender who addressed me. While I won’t name names, he was an African American man working that evening. His tone was hostile from the start, and instead of handling the situation with any courtesy or explanation, he shut me down immediately with zero interest in hearing anything I had to say. It felt personal and discriminatory.
This is not even about me either—I’ve heard the other customers talk about his rude attitude and unprofessionalism. It is too bad too, as the rest of the employees were always excellent, and I actually liked going there. But treatment like that is going too far.
I sincerely hope the management takes serious stock of the way in which events of these sorts are handled and the customer service being upheld—because one individual employee should not be able to ruin what would otherwise be...
