Review pending until the extensive enhancements to the park have been unveiled.
Check back in a bit.
I wanted to update my review to share the exciting news that the renovations on the Park have been completed. The park looks wonderful. There's an awesome new playground there which I hope Oakland's youth enjoy for many years to come. Some may express concern that the park has, in the past few years, become a place of last refuge for homeless people. That's is indeed a shame which requires a response on a societal level. I hope ias we go forward, there aren't conflicts in the park around the new facilities and the possible return of unsheltered individuals, especially those individuals who suffer from mental health issues. Call this wish simplistic but-- I hope the kids who enjoy this refurbished park and new playground-- have experiences which can contribute to joyful childhoods-- and hence are spared mental health problems in...
Read moreWith so much beauty in nature within the East Bay, can you blame others for migrating from SF( and the rest of the world) to a place where parks and recreation is only a hop, skip and a jump from your home location? The Bay Area--- in particular of the East ---- is GOLD!! Unfortunately, there are folks living here that just don't get it. Snow Park is just one of many renovated parks that I've traveled in the past year during the Covid lockdown. Now that things have reopened----its actually embarrassing to see nature's beauty and the mentally ill share space. Im happy to be back, but as the violence continues I'm not sure I want to call this place home again after being gone for so long. Great job with Snow Park. #futureswithoutviolence #eastbayparks #opd #mayors...

I AM A USMC COMBAT VETERAN; I FELL UPON HARD TIMES AFTER BEING DISENGAGED FROM THE CORPS. I WAS HOMELESS FOR A BRIEF PERIOD; AFTER SEEKING ASSISTANCE, I AM STABLE AGAIN❗ SO, I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THERE, I AM NOT PONTIFICATING UPON SOMETHING THAT I HAVE LITTLE OR NO DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH.
I MOST FERVENTLY WISH SNOW PARK THE ABSOLUTE BEST❗❗...
