Mad max vibes! It was quite fun. If you are more confident with ATVs, you can attempt more tricks. It can be dangerous too. 3 in my group got into an accident as they were driving a UTV, and the ground suddenly vanished into a 6 feet drop. A girl broke her wrist, taken to hospital in an ambulance, and needs surgery. Another friend was thrown off his ATV, and pulled some tendons in his shoulder as he tried to break the fall.

Decent park with grassy area, benches, playground, and all gender restroom. There were some homeless people camping in tents when I went and the grass looked like it could use some maintenance. The restroom isn't anybody's idea of clean, but it was functional. The grass is a great place to sit on a warm day.

Great little park in the heart of Oakland with plenty of space for hanging out with friends or enjoying the nearby water. They have public bathrooms, a small playground, large fields, picnic tables and benches, and trash cans. It felt very safe at this park in the middle of the day on a Saturday.

Review pending until the extensive enhancements to the park have been unveiled.

Check back in a bit.

I wanted to update my review to share the exciting news that the renovations on the Park have been completed. The park looks wonderful. There's an awesome new playground there which I hope Oakland's youth enjoy for many years to come. Some may express concern that the park has, in the past few years, become a place of last refuge for homeless people. That's is indeed a shame which requires a response on a societal level. I hope ias we go forward, there aren't conflicts in the park around the new facilities and the possible return of unsheltered individuals, especially those individuals who suffer from mental health issues. Call this wish simplistic but-- I hope the kids who enjoy this refurbished park and new playground-- have experiences which can contribute to joyful childhoods-- and hence are spared mental health problems in...

With so much beauty in nature within the East Bay, can you blame others for migrating from SF( and the rest of the world) to a place where parks and recreation is only a hop, skip and a jump from your home location? The Bay Area--- in particular of the East ---- is GOLD!! Unfortunately, there are folks living here that just don't get it. Snow Park is just one of many renovated parks that I've traveled in the past year during the Covid lockdown. Now that things have reopened----its actually embarrassing to see nature's beauty and the mentally ill share space. Oakland and the surrounding communities must do better to curb and end the unecessary violence and trash that's making the city look real ugly. Im happy to be back, but as the violence continues I'm not sure I want to call this place home again after being gone for so long. Great job with Snow Park. #futureswithoutviolence #eastbayparks #opd #mayors...

LOVELY SNOW ❄ PARK 🌲🍁🍃🌼 IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE PLACES TO RELAX AND RECHARGE. THE CURRENT RENOVATIONS ILLUSTRATE HOW FABULOUS IT WILL BE UPON COMPLETION. MY ONE BIT OF APPREHENSION IS DUE TO THE "HOMELESS," THAT WILL MOVE BACK IN. THIS IS A TRAVESTY.

I DO NOT DENIGRATE HOMELESS ONES IN GENERAL. HOWEVER, THE VAST MAJORITY ARE WILLFULLY " HOMELESS," REFUSING ASSISTANCE BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN AVERSION TO BEING RESPONSIBLE. ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, THERE ARE RULES TO BE ADHERED TO.

I AM A USMC COMBAT VETERAN; I FELL UPON HARD TIMES AFTER BEING DISENGAGED FROM THE CORPS. I WAS HOMELESS FOR A BRIEF PERIOD; AFTER SEEKING ASSISTANCE, I AM STABLE AGAIN❗ SO, I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THERE, I AM NOT PONTIFICATING UPON SOMETHING THAT I HAVE LITTLE OR NO DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH.

I MOST FERVENTLY WISH SNOW PARK THE ABSOLUTE BEST❗❗...
