Polar Bear Rolled Ice Cream — Restaurant in Oakley

First time coming here. Didn’t even know they were in a shopping center near me. The store windows are tinted very dark so you’ll have to make sure the open sign is lit. The store needs some renovations or upgrades so it can look brighter and inviting.

They roll the ice cream in front of you which is pretty neat to watch if you’ve never seen seen it made (rolled). We ordered Rocky Roll, Mint Chocolate Chips, and Ube (Taro). My niece loved her Rocky Roll it had a lot of toppings, my friend liked her mint she rated it about 3.5 stars. My Ube was ok too. It took a few seconds for the flavor to hit my taste bud. My topping was whipped cream and sprinkles (not a fan). I kind of wish it had white chocolate shavings or Ube sprinkles.

The service was great. Fast and friendly. It’s a bit pricey than normal but considering the pandemic, everything, went up in price. The sizes are confusing so make sure you look at the cup. They asked me if I wanted medium or regular (I failed to look at the cups). The regular is bigger than the medium just FYI....

It's time to get obsessed. First time you go ask for a Stamp Card because you're going to fill that baby up quick. Especially if you buying for your kids. Which you will. Be honest. Get the cup for $7 get the Strawberry Banana or the Strawberry Mango. They have 8 ingredients used to make them. And the funky monkey and rocky road use 7 Ingredients. Everything else on the menu uses 6 or less ingredients making it a bit depressing that you spend $7 for 6 rolls or so in a cup which used 6 or less Ingredients to make the flavor. This includes whipped cream and anything considered topping comes to 6 or less. But the funky monkey and rocky road have 7 ingredients which you break even at $7 a cup. And then the strawberry banana and strawberry mango have 8 ingredients so they are really hooked up cups of strawberry ice...

Horrible. My family and I have tried many different ice cream places around the Bay Area as well as other states. This establishment by far was one of the worst if not the worst experience we've had. Service was terrible. The two workers were not at all friendly and really gave you the impression they did not want to serve you anything. And maybe becuase they both seemed over worked. They really needed a third person in there. The place was dirty, cluttered and made me feel I was in someone's garage in a weekend garage sale. The ice cream lacked any real flavor. We actually did not even finish them when we got home. (Note: we were going to dine in but the place didn't seem inviting at all so we opted to take out). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE.
