Horrible service by shift manager
So Saturday night my family, who always loves RT pizza, wanted pizza for dinner while decorating our Christmas tree at home, I logged into my loyalty account on the RT app, I filled out an order and was able to apply a "$10 off December for a $40 + order" discount to my $60 + order, when I was checking out, the system would not accept my credit card, I tried 3 different cards multiple times, at this point and 20 + minutes later, I decided to call the order in, when the gentleman took my order I told him about the issue and the discount, he asked me for my rewards info and said he found it everything was good to go and he applied the discount for a total of $55, I drove down to pick up my order and after standing in line for a few minutes as they were a bit busy, a gentlemen began to check me out and after confirming my info and order, he said that will be $66, I said there is supposed to be a $10 Dec loyalty discount applied, after looking in computer he says I don't see any notes about that, after explaining the conversation I had with person that took my order, he says well there nothing I can do for you, I asked to speak with his supervisor to see if we could work it out, he says very rudely "I'm the shift supervisor so there's nothing I can do for you", I said back to him ok well then enjoy my pizza and I turned and walked out.
The management of this store needs to re consider who they have at the front counter, as a business owner myself the most important person to represent your business and for customer service is the person greeting customers. Ordered a $300 order earlier today to be delivered on the evening to a workplace for the team. The first order took place online, but when I realized that there were going to be more attendees, I called back to see if I could add another pizza, salad, and wings to supplement the original order.
First, and foremost, the person on the phone is having a baaaaaad day. It's apparent from the tone of annoyance when I am asking questions. Second, they said that they completely ran out of lettuce, so they cannot fulfill any salad orders. Girl...that's a restaurant and takeout! This order is in a few hours. Someone should GO OUT AND BUY lettuce for your business. I have worked in numerous restaurants, and I would say it's fairly unusual for a place specializing in this type of menu to "86" lettuce this early in the day. WTH?
To cap it off, she couldn't do anything for me, in the end. I had to go back online and make a second order for the same time to be delivered. I guess now we cross our fingers that all arrives on time and together??

Read moreThis is the 3rd time I've called to order pickup over an hour before closing and have been turned away by staff stating they're closing early or they have too many orders to still make and they can't take my order with an hour and 20 minutes until closing time, so basically saying they can't make a small pizza in 80 minutes. What type of business does this???? I hope you're upper management reviews this and fires the staff here for Not doing their jobs( ie take people's orders and service them, not give them bs excuses so you can go home early) I will never do business here again.
UPDATE I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ONE MORE TRY......MY MISTAKE. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, STOOD AT COUNTER OVER 5 MINUTES BEFORE EVEN SEEING AN EMPLOYEE. WHO THEN PROMPTLY IGNORED ME STANDING THERE WAITING TO ORDER A PIZZA, FINALLY I JUST WALKED OUT. I WILL NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN.
