This was my first time here. My boyfriend and I placed an order online and I went to pick it up after work. It wasn't ready when I got there but I saw how slammed the place was. I realized: "Oh no, it happens to be Cinco De Mayo today!" So I figured it might take a bit longer than expected. I was kindly notified by a woman that I assume to be the owner that it wasn't ready so I had a seat. To my surprise, she came to me and offered me something to drink while I waited. I got a lemonade (absolutely DELICIOUS) and she even came and gave me a refill when she saw I had almost finished it. WOW. 😁😁 My order was ready about 20 minutes after my pick up time, and she hand delivered it to me. She apologized for my wait and let me know that she threw in a free desert item for my troubles. Her kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for me absolutely blew my mind. I left with a huge smile on my face. When I got home and we ate our dinner we were blown away with how delicious all of the food was. We each got smothered steak burritos, an order of carne asada fries, and we enjoyed the Tres de Leche cake that the owner gifted us. We definitely found our new Mexican Food spot! Incredible service and food that is out of this world. What more could...

We were welcomed by the nice ladies up front,we sat down and I was excited to try the huaraches so I ordered a plate and my husband ordered a California Burrito. The rice and beans were good even tho I would have preferred cotija cheese instead of mozzarella over my beans. The Huaraches meat was quality meat but the huarache itself was a no for me. I can tell it wasnt freshly made (pre-made pack) and was expecting it to be filled with beans inside how I usually get it in most places. My husband wasnt too impressed with the california burrito he didnt get much of the fries in it. Im am very picky with horchata and even tho I was already like "nope" when I looked at it (looked too cinnamon-y) I was im pressed it was tasty and my husband loved the tamarindo.. the habanero salsa was our favorite, following the red salsa and green taking last place. We want to come back to taste the quesabirria tacos.... defenitly will chose this place over La...

I went to Picante today as a door dash driver. At first they were friendly as I am not the guy that shoves the phone in their face. They told me order was still being prepared and that's fine. 30 seconds later I get a notification that the order is ready, it's not. I kindly tell them when they press the notification, that a timer starts for me to deliver the order. I then was told by the older lady that her staff doesn't work for me. I again told her in a well mannered way, when they do that, it reflects on my account for being late and might not receive orders. At this point she's yelling at me to get out and the order is ready and they have audacity to make sure I confirm 8 minutes after it should have been ready, as I left I mentioned how rude and unprofessional she was acting. As a customer the food is pretty good. Will never go there...

Today is the grand opening! Come check them out and try it! There’s a Picante Taqueria in Pittsburg and the owner says this is not the same. This one is just called Picante. The restaurant is tiny. There about four or five tables. So seating is very limited. But is it so cute inside. They are serving authentic Mexican food. So glad they opened because the one near us closed down. We ordered a veggie Burrito Bowl, Bean burrito, and an horchata. Our order was ready in five minutes. That was pretty fast considering it’s their grand opening! Obviously the veggie bowl was fresh: the lettuce was in the bowl still nice and crisp, though a could use a bit more veggie. The burrito was a bit small for the price in my opinion but you be the judge when you come. But still tasted ok. It’s their first day so I’ll have to come back again.

Stopped at Picante after getting pedicures with my wife at Vida Nail Salon. This was my first time eating here. The waitress brought us chips and salsa which were delicious. I ordered the carne asada street tacos plate. The beans and rice were bomb (as you can see in the picture I started with those first) and the tacos were also delicious. My wife wasn't as hungry and ordered a carne asada quesadilla which she loved. The decor was nice and the ambiance was great with music playing in the background. Our waitress was super attentive and nice. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot.
