Fox's Pizza Den — Restaurant in Oakmont

I love this Fox's and how they cook their food! Nothing is sloppy or gross. The owner and staff really know how to make their food! Big, neat, but filled with toppings! The owner doesn't skimp on toppings! My veggie hoagie was LOADED and delicious and the fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked. It was so much food that I couldn't even finish it, I was full on a couple of bites on the veggie hoagie, and I never get full on a veggie hoagie, ever! Haha. I always need fries because they are usually small and all bread. Not this one! That just shows how loaded it was with veggies, it filled me up! Lol. I had my boyfriend eat the rest! Really good food, fresh food, clean place, friendly staff, and the owner is awesome, and they make delicious food. 10/10 I'll always come down to this Fox's ONLY! If I could give 0 stars I would. After waiting almost an hour for my food to be delivered everything was burnt and cold. I was also missing wings from my order. How do you look at food you’re about to send out that way and think that’s acceptable. I called and “the best manager in Oakmont” answered the phone. He was so rude he hung up on me! I called back and told him to refund me and come get his food. He didn’t want the food. We’ll see if I get a credit on my card in 3 days

I wanted to say that I received a call from the owner of Fox’s today. We had a long conversation about what happened and he assured me he would be having a talk with his manager. He also is giving a discount on our next 2 orders if we choose to order again. Honestly this is the first time we’ve had a problem with the food and because of our conversation alone we will remain customers. Good customer service...

How could someone legitimately leave a 5 star rating for a local pizza chain location you ask? Well, because I’ve had Fox’s Den multiple times from multiple locations since moving to the area years back, and I just was very underwhelmed. My daughter kept telling me “Dad, you have to order right. You have to get the big daddy, we get it at day camp and it rules”. “How could it be any different than the other square pie or a round pie from there”, I thought. Finally relented and tried it tonight, simple, one half cheese, half pepperoni. Crust was so different from what we had previously, sauce was just right and yes it was quickly made, but it just hit. This was probably the most surprising pizza experience I’ve had in a long time. Good stuff Fox’s Den, we’ll see...
