Mike's Wife's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Oakmont

If I could rate this place lower I would. It is a pathetic place to go. Do not waste your time nor money. Health hazard. Drug usage in the bathrooms. Bring a UV light if you doubt me. The owner thinks he owns the sidewalk and all surrounding public areas. So you can't even park on the street to visit public places like the nicely paved walking path without getting verbally and/or physically assaulted by employees, patrons and/or owner and then the police called like you are breaking the law for street parking on public property or walking on the sidewalk to trip and fall on his lawn furniture that he stacks all over the sidewalk like he owns it. The municipal should step in and correct this health hazard...

We were referred here for their food. Arrived around 7 pm. Not busy upon arrival. Ordered cheese sticks, fish sandwich (which on the menu stated "best fish around so they're told"), fried shrimp, fries and house salad. Service was slow. Wait staff was not personable. The salad was fresh and delicious. The fish was "triangle o'fish", shrimp were small and all breading. Fries were fresh cut and good. Cheese sticks, can't go wrong. This was my first time visiting Mike's Wife's Place. Overall, it was a very nice experience. This restaurant is very easy to find in Oakmont. There is on street parking in front (not sure if there was a parking lot in back). We were greeted when we entered and were treated with kindness. The staff all worked together nicely. The food was outstanding, served hot and very flavorful. And the prices didn't break the bank! Everything was clean throughout. ...
