Garvey's Grill — Restaurant in Oakville

The service was AWFUL! After a long wait, which was expected, since we had a large party, the server took quite a while to even take our drink orders. Then it took multiple times to get everyone's meal to them (with everything they were supposed to get), and several attempts (many requests) to even get silverware (because there wasn't any on the tables). When the waitress finally did bring silverware, she brought it along with napkins, set it in the middle of a table and said whoever needed it could get it. In addition, we had to ask the Bussers for drink refills a couple times because the Server wasn't attending to that either. At one point, she actually watched us ask him and him refill the drinks. We were ready to ask that they leave pitchers because we were feeling bad for bothering him. :( In my opinion, it's sad to go to a local place to enjoy time with family and have such lousy service bring the experience down!:( I will strongly discourage anyone from choosing Garveys as the place we go...

The food is okay, but the management and service are a joke. My workplace ordered here and the woman (heavy set with short brown hair and glasses) that rang me out was such a gross, impolite, miserable person that we will not be getting food here ever again. She was rude from the second I walked in and rolled her eyes as if I had done something wrong by coming in the first place. After about a thirty second exchange, I asked her to get someone else to complete the transaction and she refused saying that nobody else worked there so I was stuck with her. (I could clearly see other staff members sitting around watching the tv). Even worse, when I confronted the manager about it he just groaned and said "Again?" And did absolutely nothing. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If they really wanted to improve then instead of renovating they should...

KEVIN and Mike and the team always do a great job whether it’s pick up or whether I am sitting at the bar having lunch. The wings and the pizza and the salad are all very very good in our tops on our families list of food to get… In fact, we had it for our Texas out of town guest for Thanksgiving as they arrived Wednesday night and they all went crazy for the wings … Garlic, Parmesan, and trashed, our fantastic and all the other flavors we had are very very good also! Great local watering hole and again Kevin and mike do a great job…...
