I ALWAYS JUST GET AN ICE CREAM CONE FROM MCDONALDS MOST OF THE TIME. I DO LOVE MY REGULAR HAMBURGERS HOWEVER, WITH NO KETCHUP AND NO MUSTARD. AND ADD BIG MAC SAUCE TO BOTH SIDES AND I CALL IT "THE DIET BIG MAC" WHICH IS BETTER FOR YOUR WAISTLINE THAN A FULL SIZE BIG MAC OR A JUNIOR BIG MAC. IF YOU GET THE DIET BIG MAC YOU SHOULD ASK FOR EXTRA BIG MAC SAUCE (PAY ADDITIONAL!!) AND ASK FOR BIG MAC SAUCE ON BOTH SIDES. DONT FRET IF YOU THINK THEY AT MCDONALDS THINK YOU JUST WANT A BIG MAC AT 1/3 THE COST OF THE HUGE BIG MAC. JUST MENTION THE DIET BIG MAC AT THE WINDOW AND NOONE WILL CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS SIZED REGULAR HAMBURGERS BEING TURNED INTO DIET BIG MACS !! I RECOMMEND THE ICE CREAM CONES IF THERE IS A SMALL LINE ITS LESS THAN I THINK 1.40$...IT COULD BE A 1.08$ BUT I AM THE ICE CREAM CONE BANDIT AT BK ALSO, WHERE I AM PRETTY CERTAIN ITS 1.08$ WHERE I LIVE IN ST LOUIS. MCDONALD'S HAS A GREAT TASTE FROM SUPER INEXPENSIVE TO SOMEWHAT EXPENSIVE. I PREFER MCDONALD'S TASTE TO RALLYS WHERE ITS OVERPRICED AND THEIR BURGER BEEF HAS A TASTE THAT IS INDINSTINGUISHABLE THAT I DONT LIKE. RALLYS IS LIKE 25$ FOR THREE PEOPLE. MCDONALDS IS LIKE LESS THAN 20$ AND HAS SUPERIOR TASTE QUALITY COMPARED TO THE RALLYS ALMOST "MYSTERY TASTE" THEIR BURGERS HAVE. I GIVE MCDONALDS A 4.6 OUT OF 5 BECAUSE THEIR LINES ARE ALWAYS SO LONG AT DIFFERENT PEAK HOURS AND NON PEAK HOURS ALIKE. GREAT FOOD AND A DECENT PRICE - THAT IS MCDONALDS. I RECOMMEND MCDONALDS ICE CREAM CONES FOR THE DOWNTRODDEN WHO NEED A LITTLE CHEERING UP AND WANT SOME COMFORT FOOD. By far, this is consistantly the slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. I honestly do not understand how corporate can let this continue to operate. Even if there are no cars in the drive through, you can expect to wait a minimum of 15 minutes for your food. Everytime, it is the same excuse from managers. "We are just so swamped". Come on now. I have worked my fair share of fast food, typically working a kitchen by myself, and never, even during the biggest of rushes did any of my customers have to wait that long. Seeing several employees just standing around while orders are piling up, there's no excuse for that. My last stop here, I waited by the drive through window for about 7 minutes. I asked what are we waiting on. They told me they were waiting for the chicken to finish cooking and had me pull around. I waited another 10 minutes, got out of my car and went inside and asked if the chicken was finished, just to find out that they haven't even dropped in in the fryer yet, and again, apologies because they were so slammed. There were 5 cars in the drive through. 5. I told them I want my money back, went to Burger king across the street which had just as many customers. In and out in less than 5 minutes. We drove up to a nearly empty location, 01/12/25 at around 230, and it was full of employees. The employee who took our order was less than delightful; no smile and was very short with us. The next window, though the employee was very pleasant, explained that our food was not done to pull around to spot 1. The spot was positioned poorly. We drove up, and we were parked in a manner that it was difficult for people to get between us and the diagonally parked vehicles that were patrons inside. We kept having to pull forward and then back back to where spot one was. We also had to move when a customer from inside came to leave because they could not get out with us parked at spot one. We waited for our food for around 15 minutes. The employee who brought the food out was polite and apologized for the wait. When we got our food, the fries and the burgers were cold. The cheese had gotten hard, and the fries, though still palatable, had become stiff. They were out of normal bread, so our delux chicken sandwiches, very hot, so they must have been the wait. They were on big Mac buns and only had tomatoes and mayo on them; no other toppings. Though it wasn't a horrible experience, it left a lot to be desired. I hope to visit again to be able to write an update on this experience. It could have just...
