This place is incredible! If you want really good, old world down home Italian dinners and pizza, you have to check this place out! I’m from NY, trust me when I tell you I know good Italian food. They literally have the best egg plant parm dinner I have ever tasted, also the their chicken parm dinner is ridiculous as well. also, the best that I’ve ever had. Their meats are always fresh nothing frozen. Their mutzarella and sauce all done on the premises. I was so impressed that I requested to speak to the owner, he hurried over with a look like he was concerned that I may have no like my food or something. I commenced to tell him that his eggplant was the best I ever had. He was so humbled. The food is always what keeps you coming back in general. But the family, that’s a whole nutha level! The owner Vinny is amazing! He’ll come out from behind the counter and greet you, stay with you a while talking to you. Their staff is super friendly. The thing is they treat you like you came over their home for dinner. When the owner isn’t running this location he’s running the other. In that case, their daughter runs the place and guess what? She’s at the door greeting you as you come in. “Welcome to my dads place!” I sat there (nosey) while she carried on an amazing conversation about her great grandparents. How they got to Ellis Island with nothing and did what they do best. Cook great Italian food. People, this place is truly a gem! Let’s support this family! Today, people don’t even wanna work. They are pulling through these hard times like troopers! At times with no profit for weeks. Let’s support this place. You won’t be dissatisfied I promise you. Even when the couple did leave, she came over to me and started talking to me. I loved it! You don’t see this kind of service anymore. What it is, it’s integrity, hardwork and gratitude for what her parents have created. I’m there atleast every other week. Enjoy, Vinny’s is a class act! Try the eggplant or their chicken parm dinner. I promise you, it will be one of the best you’ve had. If not the best! And yes, that’s Vinny thanking all...
Read moreI had an awful experience on Friday, 10/2. I couldn't find contact info for a manager/owner, so I sent a message to them via Facebook. It was seen shortly after I sent it, but I've yet to receive a response.
I placed an order for the chicken bacon alfredo pizza and was told it would be 20-25 mins. I got to the restaurant early, so I sat in the parking lot until when the pizza should have been ready. When I went inside, the cashier turned to another employee and said, "You didn't call him?" She told me they were out of bacon so they hadn't made my pizza. I asked could I get a discount if I ordered the same pizza but without bacon and she said no. I ended up buying a pepperoni pizza instead and had to wait for it to be cooked. I didn't receive any discount whatsoever, not even a free drink, for my inconvenience. I was literally in the parking lot waiting for a pizza that wasn't even being cooked and no one called to tell me. This level of care is unacceptable to me, especially when you consider there are literally 2 other local pizza places within minutes of this location. I'm bummed bc we usually have better experiences here. I understand mistakes happen, but this particular one was handled very poorly and made me feel like no one really cared about me as a customer. The lack of a response to my Facebook message added to that feeling.
Edit: Updated review to include screenshots of correspondence w/ the owner. I reached out to him after receiving a snarky comment to my Facebook review. He was very rude and unprofessional and told me to not contact him again and to "get a life." Do not waste your time going here; go to one of the other 2 local pizza places located within 2 miles of...
Read moreMore than pleasantly surprised. My son and I came to the area for our favorite barbecue place, but it turned out. It was closed so in a pinch we found Vinny’s. We were in the mood for barbecue, but once the smell of the fresh Italian food hit us when we open the door our appetites quickly changed. We got the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were dense tender and had a wonderful taste to them without any overpowering spices. The marinara sauce was very tasty with not one ingredient overpowering the rest. I have had places where either the sauce is too acidic or overpowered with garlic and that’s all you taste. Had a wonderful consistency to it. Not watery nor was it so thick you couldn’t eat it. I had the chicken Parmesan, which had a wonderful crispy breading to it and the marinara sauce. My son got the lasagna. I tasted some of his and it was excellent. Please come hungry because these are portions not meant for the timid of stomachs. Very generous portions. I’m excited to come back and try the Stromboli. We were never left alone between the manager and the waitress making sure our drinks were filled and seeing if we needed anything else so that was definitely nice. You could definitely tell they used fresh ingredients. Can’t say enough good things. Very clean and actually a pretty nice atmosphere being able to see the cooks busy in the kitchen with a beautiful glass wall. Not pretentious. Definitely bring the What are you? entire family to sit eat...
