I have been coming to the salon after having an amazing pedicure by Ivy several months ago. I have since referred two friends that regularly go there now because of my amazing experience. Ivy was so nice remembering my name and always seemed so happy. I decided to start doing my SNS nails there to see the quality. In the beginning they seemed pretty good with an occasional nail popping off here and there. I’m not sure if that’s the product they use, but it started to become a consistent issue. I was having to go back once and twice a week to replace nails that were popping off. I became frustrated because I don’t have time to constantly go to a nail salon. I didn’t have this problem at a different nail salon that I used to go to. The manager step down and took over doing my nails. Ivy seemed upset about that. I continued on for another times with the same issue. They grinded my nails down to the point that it hurt. All the while I could see them, darting there, eyes at me and talking in their native language. It was obvious that they were speaking about me. I don’t know how they think it’s not obvious, especially when they all chuckle when I say something about it hurting my fingers. I believe they are probably using inferior products because I’ve never had such a issue like this. I was told by the owner that I must have oily nail. A condition that can cause nails to pop off. Whatever. I told them to take them off and the owner kept saying to try another time. I said no, please take them off. I won’t be doing them anymore. They all chuckled again. I came back yesterday to have a manicure before a wedding I was attending. I asked for Ivy and they sat me at her station. She seemed so angry. I asked her if she was ok. Instead of responding to me she spoke and her native language. The owner came over and said that Ivy was busy and that someone else would do my nails. She never spoke a word to me. I thought that was so rude. I couldn’t understand why she was upset at me. This place is turning out to be most unprofessional nail salon that I’ve ever been to. Because I was in a hurry, I sat down with Henry who did a nice job on my manicure. He tried to convince me to do gel nail and I kept saying I just wanted regular polish. He didn’t want to do regular polish. I insisted and told him that’s what I wanted. Upon completion of my manicure, I looked around for nail dryer. I asked Henry and he came over and said they didn’t have any. They had just moved from the other salon next door a week ago and haven’t taken the time to put nail dryers in. He goes on to tell me that I needed to sit here 30 minutes for the nails to dry. I wish I had known this before I went in or I would’ve not done my nails there. When I told them that I didn’t have 30 minutes for my nails to dry, they again all chuckled and spoke in their native language . Meanwhile, Ivy, who apparently is still upset at me, has not had a single customer in the hour that I was there. She filed her own nails and played on her phone the whole time. I will not be returning to the nail salon. It’s a shame because it’s so close to my house. Why on earth a company like this that just expanded into a new space would treat their customers like this is...
Read moreHave always loved getting my nails done here, however there is a gentleman there that is careless with his work. I’ve had him do my acrylics and leave a sticky rushed mess everywhere. So when I had him for my pedicure I should’ve asked for someone else, because I received the most rushed & rough deluxe pedicure. The scrub was super abrasive & rough so have little red dots everywhere on my legs. Which I never get. Also the massage which was supposed to be relaxing was very rough. It was hurting my shin, muscle, nerve & bone. I tried to sit through it but eventually it felt like 10/10 pain & bruising sharp pain from being so rough repeatedly. I had to ask him to stop which I would never do because I don’t like to embarrass people. He was unfocused on my pedicure looking around & not wanting to be there. It hurt when I got up to walk & on the drive home. My whole body felt shock & just wanted to get out of there. Basically this was days ago & it’s still hurting bad & bruised that I had to go to the doctor. Called them & the guy basically tried to blame me saying I already had bruises when I came in. Which I have photos of my legs that never have bruises. All I wanted was a relaxing nail day and now I’m in pain ever since...
Read moreI have lived in the area for many years and have flip-flopped around between just about every nail salon around here. Ivy Springs is not one of the ones right around the corner from my house so I had not given it a try yet… Until one day, one of the guests I was serving came in with a fabulous manicure. I commented and she recommended Ivy Springs. Thank goodness for that moment! 🙌 I was lucky enough to get placed with Zoey on my first visit, and I’m honored to say I am a client of hers for as long as she will have me. For some reason, regular gel does not last like it’s supposed to on my nails… Could be because I work in a restaurant, but I explained this to every nail technician I came across in hopes that they would know what to do to make it stay. I had given up hope and had just stopped getting my nails done. But Zoey knows what to do!! Her attention to detail, her talent and her ever-growing skills are awe inspiring. Every member of the team seems great and very honed in their craft. Thank you guys for...
