I had high hopes for this place especially because they have high ratings. However, after trying it, I couldn't understand where all the good ratings were coming from, so I felt compelled to give my honest opinion. Now I've been eating Asian food practically my whole life and I must say this restaurants food, for me, was by far the worse I ever had. The rice smelled like pickled feet. The General Tso's was more like General Soy Sauce, as in the sauce was not sweet and spicy like you expect your average General Tso's to be. It was bland and tasted exactly like low sodium Soy Sauce. On the menu, they have a little chili pepper next to the General Tso's describing it as spicy. Well, it wasn't...Like at all. False advertising. Thankfully, its been three hours since I tried the food and I'm not sick. Hopefully I don't get sick because I have no idea why that rice smelled so bad. Praying I wasn't given rotting food. We paid a little over $40 bucks for our dinner. Needless to say, it was a waste of money and we weren't impressed nor satisfied with our purchase. Read moreI have eaten here before and it is normally pretty good but after today I will not return. I spent well over 50.00 and my House Lomein literally had a spoiled smell I was dumb and extremely hungry and put it on our plates anyway and ate some and now I’m nauseous and trying to fight from vomiting. I should have followed my gut and not ate it and took it right back but I was starving and confident that wasabi would not serve spoiled food I was wrong. I called and the person on the phone I think maybe the manager said nobody complained today about the lomein and he would make another if I brought it back. He wasn’t there when I got there but they refunded the lomein. I personally feel like more should be done for giving someone spoiled food. My husband also mentioned some of lomein was hot in some places and cold in others which tells me this lomein or the meat or all of it was not fresh and this is unsafe for consumption I have an important meeting tomorrow and if I end up with food poisoning or to sick to go to my meeting. Read moreI placed on order on Mother's Day evening for pick up. I was quoted a pick up time of 20-25 minutes after I placed the order. I arrived approximately 25 minutes after placing the order and had to wait an additional 15 minutes to be given my order. When I actually got home with the order, it tasted as if it had been sitting out for quite some time and was completely inedible. I ended up trashing the order.
I called Wasabi this morning to discuss this issue. The gentleman did not provide me with his name but was incredibly rude the entire time I was on the phone with him. I explained my issue to him, and after looking up my order in the system, he asked if it was my first time ordering with them. I confirmed that this was the case, and he stated "Well you probably just weren't used to our sushi." He was incredibly demeaning and kept insisting that there was nothing wrong with their food until he finally stated that they would refund me for the order and that I should "not order from here again. Don't waste your time and don't waste ours."
