Park View Commons — Local services in Ocala

This plaza is by far a GREAT place!! It has a little bit of everything for everyone 💥 in your entire family!!!! It has Publix 🛒, Subway 🥖, Peachwave 🍧 (which is an awesome frozen yogurt shop that you can dispense yourself and add whatever toppings 🍫🍒🍓🍌🥜 you'd like), car wash , bank, pool store 🏊(for swimming pools), Grace Japanese Steakhouse 🍱🍣🍤🍚🍶, UPS Store, a Dentist 😬 & other shops too. I think that this plaza is a great one because while you are grocery shopping you can send you child(ren) (ONLY IF THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH) down to Subway if they're hungry or down to Peachwave to grab a snack. You can also grab an AMAZING bite to eat at Grace Japanese Steakhouse. All-in-all, you could spend an entire day just at this plaza alone and get your car...

My complaint about this area is the lack of handicap access via sidewalks on the west end of the plaza. There's a pedestrian ramp almost immediately in from of where traffic enters from Maricamp Road. They must stop, but cross traffic is not required to stop, so it's usually tricky getting to the parking lot on foot. Additionally, delivery trucks such as UPS make a habit of stopping AND blocking this ramp. Since there is not another ramp west of this point, for some of us it's impossible to get onto the sidewalk. Management needs to 1) install another ramp closer to the west end of the sidewalk, and 2) paint crosswalks on the parking lot so drivers are aware that pedestrians are present and although one would think that's a given in a...

The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars is because. Memorial Day I went in and The Customer Service Manager avoiding making eye contact with me not speaking, greeting or most importantly providing any Customer Service. You acknowledge your customers why not me because I am African American. He made it his business to do so with the Caucasian shoppers.
