Gyro Hut — Restaurant in Ocala

I called ahead stating I had a coupon and told them the coupon and when arriving paid for the meal and gave him the coupon. He asked if I had ever ate there before and used a coupon. My response was no I have only ate their before with no coupon. Then he took my card and swiped and told me it was 28 dollars after the coupon took out the money and said have a good day implying the transaction was done and I could go on my way. I then asked for a receipt and as he printed the receipt he told me the coupon was done in only (does not say dine in only anywhere on the coupon) and said the coupon said please tip so he took a tip out of $4.45. I was taken off guard and left. In the world of business that I'd not how you handle a situation. You don't add a tip without telling the customer and hide it until I ask for a receipt and also it is my choice to tip or not if I were to have dined in and my choice on how much to tip and on top of all of that no where on the coupon does it say to dine in!!!!! Not my first time having problems with them. I will be demanding...

Food is the bomb. So fresh and never disappointing. I drive 40 minutes one way to get them. Best tzatziki sauce I've ever had. Also try the lemint drink...not the smoothie. Tastes so clean and refreshing. Pricing is extremely reasonable. It's like a better healthier version of fast food. Wish more places were like this. Edit: called 25 minutes before closing. Was put on hold for 15 minutes until I arrived at the restaurant and was told I couldn't be served because they were out of meat. Why keep a person on hold and waste their time? Mid you the dining room had 2 families in It and 1 Peron in the drive thru. It was a punk kid who I was later informed was the owners son. Seriously good food, clean, and helpful staff. Everything we ate was delicious, highly recommend falafel and lentil soup.

Update:1/29/19 I'm so very sad, drove in from Texas, made a special trip to Ocala just to eat here. Being as nice as I can, when a customer walks in...to an empty building at 3pm...you do not turn your back on the customer to talk about work that A.) should always take care of away from customers veiw and B.) there are other workers there to take care of it, you were in the middle of taking my order. I still feel uncomfortable about just walking out, however, I was so offended in that moment I could not think of a more socially acceptable response to the complete lack of respect to a human being let alone a customer.

My first experience was great, I've thought of coming back for so long...I've bragged about this place...
