Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Ocala

This is the worse fast food restaurant I have ever visited. They told us they were out of everything except for about 3 menu items. Before letting me order chicken tenders the cashier had to first check that a certain employee wasn’t taking them. The cashier and the manager both had the worse attitudes I have ever encountered and seemed completely uninterested in working. I have worked in customer service before so I know what it’s like but this was completely uncalled for. There was employee food half eaten sitting on the counter where they were preparing customer food and the girl taking my order grabbed her food and sat down at a table half way through me and my boyfriends order and then when she came back did not wash her hands and continued to take the rest of our order and then package the food. This place would have failed a health inspection so fast. The manager did the same. They told me they could not give me a receipt but then caught that they charged me for the wrong item. I asked for a refund and was told by the manager that “it was only one dollar.” and did not receive a refund even after requesting one. My boyfriend ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and was only given one and when he asked for the other sandwich the cashier threw her hands up and went to the back. She also went from handling money and setting money on the counter that they prepare food on to packing food into our bags. It was disgusting and the service wasn’t even just bad.. it was HORRIBLE. Never coming back here for sure.

Ain't going to lie. This was a really nasty Popeyes and since the roof collapsed it's probably the cleanest that Popeyes has ever been but hoping when they open back up. Hoping this place will be better in cleaner than it was in the past. But as many complaints that I've heard about this place is seeing play. My ski there in the past doesn't look like management cares because if they did they was straighten it out in the employers probably don't care because the manager doesn't tell them how to do their job and what they need to do. They just let them do what they want to do and the owner probably knows about the situation because if he did he would have also straightened it out with the manager, inspired him and got new ones to take over. That can do their job right? I would say if this place opens back up what's it's been rebuilt. Hoping it will stay clean and hoping it gets all new management and new employees. Then people might eat there again I'm surprised how the health department has never closed them down for how nasty that place really is. If it was me I would have shut it down, but I don't think it will deserve a third chance after this and people complain about how they need jobs so I would think if they wanted to keep the restaurant up and running they would actually fix the situations that are going on here so probably with mother nature did was probably a good thing...

Ive been here twice since they rebuilt, the first time I ordered the deal/ 3 for $6 chicken and a large mash. When I asked for a wing thigh and breast they screwed the order up and I had to go back through the drive thru to correct it. This second time I went back I asked if they still have the 3 for $6 deal and was told yes. So I ordered 2 of the deal each box with a wing thigh breast and spicy. There was some charge for $3.18 on top of the $12???? Was it for ordering spicy? I don't know! Then there was the large mash and large red beans and rice. Each cost me $6.99. But when I got home instead of finding a large mash and beans there where three small sized cups for each the mash and beans. There is no way those small sized cups equal the large sized ones. Both times this took place going through the drive thru after 10 pm. The second time at around 10:30 pm the ordering board outside was off!!! Completely blank!! I will be going back tomorrow during the day to get some answers from management. In the mean time I recommend you try another Popeyes in town and stay away from the...
