T J's Ice Cream Plus — Restaurant in Ocean City

That was probably the most stressful ice cream experience I’ve ever had. If you are going to order more than 1 ice cream , then this is not the place to go. They were slammed both outside and inside and they had maybe 4 girls working in the whole place. I’ve never seen slower workers before like that. I am not exaggerating when I say this. At one point I started looking around to see if this was a tv show prank. The family ordering in front of us , at one point the dad poked his head in the order window to ask one of the girls “ Are you okay? It’s awfully busy here”. And she just nodded and disappeared. She was moving at a snails pace , I think just barely had a pulse.

As far as the ice cream goes, it was nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth that experience. I will warn others too....

It's hard to believe but the owner is the slowest person working there. Over 15 minutes to prepare ice cream for 4 people. By the time she was done with the last so I could pay and leave the window, mine was completely melted into soup. People we were there with said they saw her doing other things while she was supposed to be making our order - including replacing empty tubs of ice cream for flavors she didn't need for us. The product is average at best, but it's convenient for us. If I ever see the owner at the window again I will just leave. $22 for 3 ice creams and 1 melted ice cream soup is way...

My husband and I were just there with our 6 yr old daughter. After waiting in line for probably about 30 minutes (Which is to be expected) we got our ice cream. The minute I walked out of the door, my daughter dropped her ice cream cone. I immediately went back in, explained what happened, and asked if we could just get another cone quickly without waiting in line. I was told no!
