Tea Boss — Restaurant in Ocean City

I ordered three items: Vietnamese coffee, takoyaki, and the Unicorn Fart drink.

The Vietnamese coffee went straight into the trash after one sip. it was basically just water with a faint coffee flavor. I watched the staff prepare it: a small amount of coffee microwaved, then mixed with sink water, a bit of condensed milk, stirred, and poured over ice. That’s definitely not how Vietnamese coffee should be made. Honestly, 7-Eleven could do a better job. For a $7 (before tax) drink, its not worth it.

The lychee drink (Unicorn Fart) was overly sweet, but at least it wasn’t as disappointing...

I was looking for a good boba place in the area, and I saw Tea Boss. As soon as I walked it the place seemed a little iffy. There were taped walls around the counters which featured the menu on it. So it seemed a little weird. I got a milk tea and it was over $9, which is outrageous! The tapicoa pearls for the boba we're very undercooked. The service was good, it's just that the women was talking very fast and seemed like she was rushing us. On top of that, the bathroom was gross with a bathrobe sitting on the ground! Me and my girlfriend pulled up at 8:30 pm on February 4, 2020 knowing they don’t close until 10pm. When we pulled up whoever was working was hiding so they wouldn’t have to do their job. It’s quite irritating considering we showed up a whole HOUR and a HALF before closing time. Whoever was working also kept peaking around the corner to see if we had left yet as we were sitting outside to see if they’d ever unlock the door.
