I stopped in hoping for a satisfying Mediterranean platter and left wondering where my $20 actually went.

Portion & Price • Tiny entrée: One lonely chicken kebab—barely appetizer-sized—sat in the center of the plate. • Plate-padding veggies: The kitchen tried to disguise that sparseness with a heaping border of cucumbers and tomato slices. Fresh, yes, but unmistakably a space-filler. • Sticker shock: Twenty dollars for this felt more like a donation than a dinner.

Flavor & Accoutrements • Missing sauces: No tzatziki, no garlic sauce, not even a drizzle of olive oil. A kebab without sauce is like fries without salt—technically edible, spiritually incomplete. • Vegetable monotony: Beyond the cucumber-tomato moat, there was no grilled veg, hummus, or rice to round things out.

Ambience • Heat wave inside: The dining area was noticeably warmer than the summer sidewalk outside. Air-conditioning seemed optional. • Soundtrack fatigue: High-volume Arabic pop with wild pitch swings blasted on repeat. Cultural authenticity is great; ear fatigue is not. • No screens, no water: No TVs for background entertainment and, surprisingly, no water served automatically.

Service

The staff did check in with a sincere “Anything we can do?”—but most issues (portion size, temperature, music volume) are beyond a server’s control.

My mother and I went here the day before my birthday and the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We ordered the following items: maza appetizer, veggie kabob sandwich, chicken kabob platter.

One note for my fellow vegans: I suggest double checking the ingredients of items labeled as vegan.

I ordered the veggie kabob sandwich which is marked as vegan on the menu. Once I got my sandwich, I opened it and was able to see that tzatziki sauce was on the sandwich which contains dairy. I asked the staff member who took our order if the sandwich was vegan and he immediately admitted that no, the sandwich is not fully vegan as it contains tzatziki sauce. He was extremely apologetic as I let him know it was fine and that is why I wanted to double check. He immediately offered to make me another sandwich without the sauce. I asked for hummus instead which he readily accommodated and then I asked for baba ghanouj instead of hummus which, again, he readily and happily accommodated while still apologizing after I told him multiple times that it was fine :) Upon receiving the newly vegan dish I absolutely CRUSHED the sandwich which was so flavorful and obviously made with care. The staff were extremely friendly, and the environment had a very homey and welcoming vibe. The décor was incredibly beautiful, and the music had me dancing in my seat.
