Mamaleh Bakery and Gelato — Restaurant in Ocean Township

Was very disappointed to see the price gauging at Mamaleh. Amongst numerous other overpriced items, they charge over $5 for a single donut which was underwhelming and kind of dry. When asked why so expensive I was told by the Manager or Owner that "it's a kosher bakery". Been to plenty of Kosher bakeries and not sure why that would drive their prices so unreasonably high but they seemed to feel that it...

The ice cream and slushies and pastries are all very delicious and /or refreshing. When it's busy, there's not a lot of sitting room. One warning, don't add sprinkles to your ice cream it's cost as much as the ice cream but you can count 7 or 8 literally. But over all I highly recommend this eatery....
