O'side Bakery — Restaurant in Oceanside

We invaded this lovely cafe on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 8. Ordering was very easy and we got our food very quickly, which is always a plus with children.

Ham sandwich My mother got this and she was please with it, although it is rather simple. The bread really stood out, as the baguette was fresh.

Chicken pesto panini My wife had this and it had a wonderful flavor from the pesto and the chick which are very thoroughly mixed together, almost like a tuna or chicken salad sandwich. They got a lovely crust on it, as well, from the panini press.

Turkey panini with Caesar salad This was mine and I actually really enjoyed the Caesar salad over the sandwich. The chicken on the salad was fresh and was clearly actually diced and grilled, rather than something frozen and reheated. The sandwich, however, would have been better in the baguette, as the wheat went to pieces after being panini pressed. The interior was delicious, cheesy and unctuous, with the bright, savory tomatoes to add some tartness. Great plate overall.

Egg plate with fruit My niece had this and I was actually a little jealous because it seemed so simple and easy. The fruit was great, eggs nicely fried, and it came with that stellar bread.

Egg plate with hash browns and sausage My brother-in-law had this. Very filling with the hash browns, even though it’s only two eggs. With the bread, it’s a carb heavy meal that may put even the most caffeinated down for nap.

Mission omelette This was my sister’s and it was packed with veggies. The onions had nice color on them, a little bit of blackened edges so that they are half caramelized. They were very generous with the avocado and hash browns as well. I don’t know who drove after this, because we were all sleepy.

Fruit pancake My other niece tried this and it was very simple, but perfect for a child or someone who’d like to not Rip Van Winkle their day away after a meal. Not a ton of syrup or sugar or whip cream, so the fruit and the pancake really stand out.

Apple turnover My brother-in-laws choice, this had beautiful color and gleaming glaze. He really enjoyed the puff pastry and cinnamon sugar apple compote.

Macarons So soft with nice crisp edges. Chocolate butter cream in the center and little crunchy sprinkles through out the cookie. My sister’s fave.

Chocolate Mousse My niece was so pumped for this because it was huge. She shared with nearly the whole table and we still didn’t finish it. Word to the wise, it scatters chocolate flakes like mad so maybe eat it outside or cover yourself in...

I dined inside this is my first time visiting this Oceanside location. I walked inside last Friday on November 19, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. for my lunch time. I walked up to the front counter and Charlene was the cashier. Charlene greeted me with a smile and said May she help me? I said yes. I want to order one Grilled Turkey and Cheddar Cheese Croissant Sandwich with Regular French Fries. The price was $10.00. Also I want one Mocha Latte Coffee., the price was $4.40. I also bought one Strawberry Cheesecake Turnover from the Bakery. The price is $2.50. The total amount of my bill was $17.00. Noah brought over my Turkey and Cheddar Cheese Sandwich with the French Fries and also Noah brought me my Mocha Flavored Latte Coffee. Noah was very nice and really friendly to me. I really like Noah’s friendly personality to me. I ate my Turkey and Cheddar Cheese Croissant Sandwich the veggies in it snd the mustard spread made this sandwich very yummy. The Mocha Flavored Latte Coffee was very delicious. This Mocha Latte Coffee had a rich Chocolate flavor but wasn’t too sweet. I really enjoyed eating my Croissant Sandwich and drinking my Mocha Flavored Lattee Coffee. I bought one Strawberry Cheesecake Turnover it has Chocolate and Vanilla Icing on top. This Turnover was very delicious with their cheesecake filling. This turnover has an awesome flavor. I loved eating all of my lunch items last Friday for my lunch time. The Oceanside Bakery staff like Charlene, Autumn, Noah, Noemi, snd Sierra who I talked to for 15 minutes gave me excellent customer service and these employees were all hard working taking customers orders at the cash register, sanitizing their customers tables, selling their bakery items in their display cases, ordering their supplies, and making sandwiches and breakfast orders for their customers. I had an amazing experience and I will come back another time to eat inside this Oceanside Bakery for a Breakfast meal. I highly recommend this Oceanside...

Oh, let me tell you about my experience at O'side Bakery in Oceanside, CA this morning. First of all, the baked goods we ordered to go were absolutely delicious! We tried a strawberry tart, a chocolate croissant, and two danishes, and they were all mouthwateringly good. The bakery definitely knows how to create some tempting treats.

However, when we arrived around 10 am, the place was packed. It felt like everyone in town had decided to have breakfast there that morning. Despite the bustling crowd, the servers were nice and attentive, doing their best to handle the chaos.

Now, when it comes to the breakfast meals, I have to admit they were a bit underwhelming. I ordered the stuffed French toast with creme brulee filling, but unfortunately, the texture was quite soggy, which didn't make it appetizing for me at all. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a satisfying French toast experience. On the other hand, my husband opted for the chocolate chip pancakes, but they were disappointingly small and didn't leave a lasting impression. I would describe them as just mediocre.

One challenge we faced was finding a table amidst the chaos when the place was busy. It was a bit chaotic, and it took some time and effort to secure a spot to enjoy our breakfast.

Considering my experience, I probably won't return to O'side Bakery specifically for breakfast. However, I would recommend stopping by to buy their delicious baked goods items to go. The staff seems like they try really hard to provide a good experience, but the overwhelming number of customers during our visit might have made it difficult for them to keep up.

So, to summarize, if you're craving delectable baked goods, O'side Bakery is definitely worth a visit. Just be aware that the breakfast meals might not be as satisfying as their...
