I came on my lunch break and ordered one drink, I sat down close to the register and waited patiently. Mind you, I've been here enough times to know approximately how long the wait typically is, and that they ask for your name at the time of purchase for your order. The cashier even made it a point to tell me that they'd call my name when it was done. About ten minutes go by and I still didn't hear my name being called. I walked up to the side where they have the drinks and asked the same lady who rung me up where my drink was and she had such a snarky tone and attitude and said "Oh well we just threw that drink away because it was sitting there for a long time", which I found it odd that she never even asked what drink I had or what my name was (so she clearly remembered me). I pointed over to where I was sitting and told her I had been there the entire time and no one called my name. At that moment she just repeated what she had already said and looked over at the guy making the drinks, they exchanged looks for a few seconds and then he finally said "I'll make another". Honestly, he seemed very hesitant to even say that. I waited standing up close to the drink pick-up counter and my new drink was done within two minutes. However, the guy did not call out my name , he called out the name of the drink. At that point, I presumed it was mine and walked over. I asked the barista "the first time you made my drink, did you call out the name of the drink or my name?" He responded while shrugging his shoulders and without even looking at me once, "I'm not sure, I probably called out the drink or both, I don't know" Right there, that confirmed everything, they had never called out my name for the first drink and that's why I didn't hear it. During this entire experience, I received not one apology nor any kind of empathy or...

I 100% recommend this coffee shop. Parking right out front can be rough, but check the side streets and you'll always find a spot.
Not bad, not stellar.
Standard prices ($5) and decent looking food, although I didn't try it on this trip.
Got to try a coffee soda and the alchemist.
Coffee Soda: espresso+soda water+vanilla Be warned, this drink comes super sweet. I ordered it half sweet and it was still a bit sweet for me. It tastes like a coffee cream soda so it's definitely interesting and not bad at all.
Alchemist: cold brew+cream+simple syrup They put a lot of cream in this. I was questioning if there was actually coffee in it because it was so pale. The flavor it good though. Light, not too sweet and refreshing overall.
Before I make my full judgment, I'd like to try it again. I definitely need to evaluate their hot drinks, mostly milk steaming quality.
The place has a great vibe and awesome style. It's right up my alley.
I'll be back soon to try more of the menu and reconsider my rating.

I also got to try more of the beverage options, and I gotta say that the hot chocolate was excellent and the chai was NOT over sugared, which IMO makes the spices less potent. 10/10.
The espresso here was super nice and had a distinct flavor profile that I really enjoyed. But I'm so mad because I came to this spot without trying anything to eat (I'm off sugar for a bit), and their bakery case was LEGIT. I took some longing, wistful pictures to share, at least. And in my (super professional) opinion, the offerings looked absolutely tip top. I'm definitely going to go back soon....
