Hill Street Donut House — Restaurant in Oceanside

Exactly what you want out of a donut shop. I came in literally 4 minutes before they closed and ask is there a chance I could still get a sandwich. Not only was the lady behind the counter hella sweet about it, she was disappointed she couldn't offer me a wider selection of fresh-squeezed juices because she'd already cleaned the machine.

The croissant sandwich was on point - crispy outside; layered texture inside. The orange juice was so good it would make you "smack yo momma". I did a dbl-take at the little cup of gold. All this in around 5 minutes, and again...with a huge smile.

I rated the atmosphere a 3 bc its no frills, but youre a walk across a big street and youre practically at the beach. Breakfast all day with exceptional service. Solid 9/10 on this Donut House experience- next lvl...

Been coming here a long long time. However not been for a while. Today 9/3/25 the sweet lady owner wasn't there unless they've sold and these are new owners. Anyway I had to walk out empty-handed because the dumb help could not process my ATM card. Tried to tell me something was wrong with it I had just used it and I had a large balance remaining. I went to the bank anyhow and the lady at the bank said the donut employee didn't know how to run her machine. Wasted 30 minutes of my time. I think I'll start going to the bakery in Carlsbad again up by the Smart & Final. I live in Carlsbad but I'll drive here and pass Super Donuts because the owner is a sweetheart.
