Chaotic Wings — Restaurant in Odessa

I just went in to order a double order of traditional wings 3 flavors & order of garlic fries wanted a drink from bar was told that bartender didn't come in till 3pm so I was immediately offered only 2 choices draft beer or bottled beer since coming out from way out west side of Odessa & ultimately having to settle on bottled beer not was I was craving for a date lunch with my husband for this beautiful Sunday 5 de Mayo weekend. so I then proceed place my order with Zoe the person up in front about 20min later she brought my wings & fries but as she turn away I reach over to enjoy my wings & to my total shock all of my order was cold not warm but completely ice cold .So then we took our tray to the front to kindly request to have this corrected we understood that they may have been a bit busy & asked just to have warmed up in microwave. Zoe then took our tray back to kitchen & we went to our seats & almost instantly as we sat down she came back with our order & told us that there was nothing they could do that the kitchens staff told her that neither they had a microwave that my order had sat too long in there kitchen window she said that was not true cause they where lying is what she told us so I asked politely to have a refund immediately followed her back up front trying to speak to a manager she informed me that only kitchen manager was there & I believe her name was Yendra so I asked to speak to her & she informed that was not available to do as she was not willing or unavailable to speak with me .so I asked for a general manager she said no manager was able to talk with me & was truly left speechless so I asked if any managers where available to make a formal contact she then said she was the manager& was told to call Joleen the operations manager that she was in charge of refunds .To say the least totally unprofessional no type of coordination or no system in place had to leave the restaurant waiting on someone to call me for my refund. My quick response was just to call the operations manager Joleen, spoke with her & in utter disbelief she was nothing short rude disrespectful & seemed annoyed with my concern & not wanting to share a formal way of trying to make contact with any supervisor she said she would email me a receipt with of a copy of my refund. Now I have no wings and have to wait 7 days for a refund.SO IF U ARE THINKING ABOUT EATING THERE DONT WASTE UR TIME & Money THE WORST & MOST OURRAGES SERVICE FROM THE MOMENT U WALK IN TO HAVING COLD FOOD & NOTHING NOT EVEN BOTHER OR CARE TO TRY TO FIND A RESOLUTION TO UR PROBLEM THAT THE WHOLE ESTABLISHMENT WAS AT FAULT WILL NEVER VISIT HERE PLEASE. Love this place. Friendly staff with one exception. I get back to that. My first night I ordered carry out pizza. I my the owner, Luke, that night . Great guy. They have a special freezer that they keep the glassware in. Very frosty. My pizza was delicious. The 2nd day, again great service at the food order counter. Got the guacamole burger this time. I sat at the bar this time. The burger was pretty darn good. Was busy but manageable for the solo new bartender, Jada, she did a great job. Again, Luke stop by and we chatted some more. The 3rd consecutive day. I really like this place. I got wings and a beer at the food order counter because the bartender, different one was not on duty yet. I planned on another beer so I sat at the bar again. At 3:00 the bartender is officially on duty and got busy organizing things I guess to her liking. Checking stock, getting the bar set up, calling vendors and stuff like that. Now, I am tolerant and a task oriented person myself. But, this person seemed to overly involved in other things. Didn’t even acknowledge I was present or check on my drink or if I needed anything. I finish my beer around 3:10… Now comes the thing that ticked me off. Another gentleman walks into the bar and takes a seat, I assume a regular. Because without a word said she, the bartender goes the fridge, gets the man his brand, puts in front of him, and chit chats a little with him. Mind you she has walked back and forth in front of me about a dozen times since 3:00. So, I get up at 3:30 to wash the wings sauce off my face and hands. I decided I better speak up or I’ll never get another beer. So I asked her and she said something about needing my credit card. So, now I am ticked. But held my tongue because I was outta beer for 20 minutes and now I need to show intent of being a paying customer. I woulda found a manager on duty but decided to leave. Short story long. Love the wings but terrible staff the same bartender constantly causes problems for us. Constantly is rude and doesn’t know how to talk to customers. We order the exact same thing and it has never been messed up. But she told us “ well if you been here before you would know what spice to order.” When we order the exact same thing. Always! And was talking bad about us for the mistake she made. We just wanted a refund or have it fixed because we didn’t touch the wings. She always causes us problems always has. We were talking to her and she gave us attitude and was constantly not trying to fix the problem. Very unprofessional and defensive about the whole thing. We didn’t raise our voice or were rude. She automatically got defensive about the whole thing, began to raise her voice and was avoiding the situation. We even tried working with them. we just wanted to enjoy the wings. All restaurants fix the mistakes made. But when coming to customer service it was terrible. We didn’t get upset because of the policy it was the lack of professionalism and the fact she was being rude and had an attitude. If she just said “I’m sorry about miscommunication but unfortunately there is nothing we can do according to our policy because.....” instead she said well I can’t give you a refund or anything can be done because that isn’t what you said”. Oh let’s not forget she told my friend “ well it taste like BBQ sauce because of their taste buds” but we know what BBQ taste like. Only reason we even end up tasting them was because she said it wasn’t BBQ sauce. The fact is we didn’t even order that.
