the place didn't look very welcoming to begin with. upon entrance I noticed a lack of menu display via signage or handheld tangible menus, I asked the lady who came to take my order (she had an attitude) if they had quesadillas she informed yes, only chicken beef and cheese. Not a problem for me as I love both fajita beef and chicken, I ordered the beef quesadilla. I had to wait about 15-20 min for my quesadilla and mind you the restaurant was empty and the steak was already cooked( the pieces on my quesadilla were extremely dry and overcooked.). upon getting my plate, which they forgot the drink I paid 32 oz limonada that I purchased, i open my quesadilla to see 2 large strips of meat across my quesadilla that were recognizably old and overcooked. upon asking for a refund they asked me why and I informed them that the plate was not appealing and I had never in my life saw a quesadilla prepared that way. Customers looked and agreed that the plate in hand was very questionable and poorly prepared. the worker informed me that she could not give me a refund today since I paid card and their bank had to do yada yada. I explained to her that I wasn't going to just leave with their promise to refund the money at the end of the day when their system was closed out. I started recording and asked for the manager, when the manager came out she looked at my plate, looked at me and said well it's 3 pieces of meat on there not 2, I told her I didn't care at this point I just wanted a refund. after pulling teeth and advising them that not only am I recording but their other customers are seeing how they treat me. finally they were able to give me a cash refund and a notice to never come back and patronize their establishment again. I have pictures and video and will be moving forward with talking to someone higher up about the event that took place. would not recommend especially to black customers, and people who know authentic and good...
Read moreI guess it's time to update my review from 7 years ago. I'm leaving the old review at the buttom for comparison.
I've been coming to this business for over 20 years, and lately, it is not what it used to be.
Today, my son and I had a very bad experience. We waited very long at the drive-thru speaker, and no one ever greeted us or said anything, so I assume the speaker didn't work. Got to the window to place my order. The employee was not really paying attention, I tried to verify that she had taken my order correctly, and every time, she said yes. So we waited for our order, got it, and drow home, just to find out that instead of getting two Gordita Asado plates, we got Asado plates. It might not seem much of a difference, but it is still for us. We wanted what we ordered, not what they gave us, so I called and told them we were going back, and they said it was fine. Once we got there, my son got off to get the correct order, but they refused to give it to him. At this point, I get off, and they still refuse to replace my order and argue and were so rude not letting me talk. In the end, after so much arguing, they replaced my order.
And the salsa, none sense is ridiculous cause even when i say I don't wanted they give it to me anyways, and to the customer that do, they get charged extra for it. Doesn't make sense.
I don't see why they don't realize that their drive-thru setup doesn't properly work for their business and customers. Just in the time I waited in the drive-thru, about 5 vehicles drove away. If you really calculate the losses, for example: if they make about $30 per car, but lose 10 cars per day and are open 6 days out of the week, they're loosing about $7,200 per month. But then again is just my opinion, right?
7 yrs ago Review -The Asado Gorditas are yummy. Customer service is pretty good and the wait for fresh cook food is not long.. Prices are pretty decend to not...
Read moreTamales were terrible. The lady at the window was very nice. After having bought terrible tasting tamales 🫔 here a few months ago, I thought i would give this place another try because their breakfast burritos 🌯 are always good. Fresh homemade tortillas. Well i went Wednesday evening I ordered 2 beef fajita burritos. The tortillas were stale old tortillas. My burritos fell apart. I only ate the meat I ordered them with guacamole and there was barely a trace of guacamole in them. The person who put the burritos together couldn't tell the tortillas were falling apart? WTH? My friend ordered chicken fajitas. His plate was cold and looked very unappealing. My friend said the plate was terrible. I complained to the young lady. It wasn't her fault but 35 dollars for a terrible meal is really upsetting. Won't be going back ever. Definitely think twice before eating at...
