What do you not understand about a well done hash brown cooked to order!?! If I order a well done has brown cooked to order that means you take a fresh hash brown by itself & place it in the hash brown holder then place it in the oil and do not pull it until it is well done! this doesn't mean place 6 hash browns in the fryer rack then take the 6 out when they are ready and proceed to put my one hash brown back in the oil. It also doesn't mean grab one of the 6-12 hash browns that you cooked 5 minutes ago and place it back into the oil. If you mistakenly do any of the last two methods the food will just soak up the grease instead of making it well done. I have to order my food and then watch them to make sure they don't screw this up & then I get looked at like I'm the ignorant one that doesn't know my job meanwhile I am the customer.
Secondly, how can your bagels be so inconsistent?!? One day I'll get a nice juicy steak patty in my steak egg & cheese bagel with a nice soft pillowy bagel. The next day I'll get an over-fried dried out steak patty and a bagel that could break your tempered drive through window. I called corporate but they don't seem to care or want to take the initiative to make sure their employees and managers are trained correctly. I spoke with a supervisor from Mcdonald corporate one day about the has brown issues and he agreed but somehow the message has not made it to the crew.
I have eaten here almost every single morning for the past 2 years & my review is the last time I will enter your establishment because I am tired of the inconsistent output of food.
Lastly the skinny young girl with the braids really needs to be taught some customer service skills. She NEVER says Hello, have a nice day, you're welcome or thank you. She obviously suffers from a social disorder but why would you put someone with ABSOLUTELY ZERO PERSONALITY to greet your customers. I check the drive through windows to make sure she isn't at either window and if she is, I'll walk in to order my food so that I am not ignored like...
Read moreEnough is enough. This location has been steadily going down hill for the past couple years. They clearly don’t double check orders to make sure they are correct anymore. Every other order is either made wrong or is missing something from it.
The last straw occurred on 2/10/24. I arrived at the restaurant at 10pm and placed a curbside pick up order. App says it will be out within 2-5 minutes. So, after waiting 20 minutes, I check the app for an update and it now just shows my receipt indicating my food was delivered to my car.
No one came out. I went in to find out what happened. When I tried to get the attention of an associate, I was met by an extremely rude women who said they were closed and I would have to go through the drive thru and walks away ignoring me (mind you it is 10:20pm and the sign on the door says the lobby closes at 11:00pm). I ask to speak to a Supervisor so I can explain what happened and the Supervisor on duty was just as rude. He also told me the lobby was closed and I would have to go thru the drive thru (which has a line wrapping around the building). I try to explain to him what happened and I just want to get my food. He refuses to help stating the register is already closed. I show him the receipt and advise him it is already paid for so we don’t need the register.
He still refused to help unless I left the lobby that was supposed to be open for another 40 minutes and wait in the line for the drive thru.
It’s clear that neither the Supervisor or his team care about their customers at all.
To top it all off, after going through the drive thru and also confirming our order at the window, they still made it wrong.
The supervisor also said my order would be free, except I already paid for it through the app and he didn’t refund me the money. It’s time to start going to either the new Burger King down the road or to the original...
Read moreHeavy cigarette smell. Figured out why quickly. Workers and their manager smoke right outside while holding the door open, they take heavy puffs in quickly and then they run in, exhaling it indoors and proceeding to take your order or make your meal. Place was very dirty for a place that has little to no indoor diners.
Update: for some reason, I ordered again, hoping things would’ve changed by now, it’s been a year since my last review. Sadly, this remains my worst McDee experience. I picked a curbside order, then I waited for 18 mins and still no sign of my order, so I went in. Right at the door, the smell of cigarettes is still hitting strong, not a good sign… there was only one other person at the whole restaurant, he was at the counter and he seemed like he’s been waiting for a while as well. I noticed a big bag with the person putting drinks inside, I recognized my drinks so I waited. 3 mins later, she put the last drink inside, got the receipt from the machine then she screamed at someone in the back… “ooooh this is a curbsiiiiide!!!!!” (I read it as “I am waaay too lazy to walk out there”). So I said: that is mine, I’ll take it from here. She handed it to me as the other person at the restaurant started asking about the looong hold up with his order. At the end, turns out the food was stone cold, and none of the condiments I ordered were included. If it wasn’t for the kids, I would never step foot in this...
