Taco Villa — Restaurant in Odessa

I’ve had a lot of questionable experiences with fast food, but this one takes the cake—or should I say, the nachos. I was enjoying my meal at Taco Villa when I discovered a little something extra in my food: an eyelash. Okay, fine, that’s gross, but it gets better. As I dug deeper, I found a hair. Not just any hair, but a legit, uninvited guest in my nachos. At this point, I’m wondering if Taco Villa is secretly running a beauty salon in the back. How does two hair-related items end up in one order? Was there a hair salon appointment I wasn’t aware of? Am I supposed to be impressed by the free add-ins? Because I definitely didn’t order the ‘hair and lash surprise combo.’ If this is the new trend, I’ll stick with somewhere else where my food doesn’t come with bonus strands of human life in it. hit or miss type of place on freshness of the food you'll receive. I usually order combo burrito but decided to try something different to change it up. Saw the fajita burrito on their menu for $8+ and assumed it has to be pretty good for that price. So I ordered the fajita burrito, combo burrito and a mexi curl. The mexi curl tasted like it's been under the light for awhile, barely warm,stale and hard. The employees should have thrown the batch out instead of selling it. I expected the burrito to have grilled veggies like onions or bell peppers. Nope. It was just regular shredded lettuce with the meat, which was old and hard as well, and shredded cheese. More times than I can count have I always requested extra beans, extra Jalapeños, or extra of anything, and this location never gives me what I’m paying for and it’s such a disappointment. I’m a big fan of taco villa and I love their food especially their salads but it’s disappointing that this location on Faudree never gives me what I pay for. I will give them this, their food is good, but the quality of the service could be improved and please when a customer asks for anything “extra” and you charge them for it then give that customer what they paid for.
