Andy & Barney's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Ohio

Stopped in for lunch as my husband is a big Andy Griffith fan and the wonderful reviews. Now I feel otherwise!!!! Sat at the bar and asked if we wanted a menu,, but never asked if we wanted anything to drink. Ordered something thought to be very simple - 1 order of wings and fries. Order took 45 minutes to complete! 2 orders were served before ours. Wings were mediocre. Definitely NOT hot as if they had just cooked them. Room temperature if that. Fries arrived shortly after the food. Courtney the batender/server has zero personality for anyone or anything. So disappointing to listen to her give 1 word - if that -answers to all customers at the bar. We were not the only ones who's food took entirely too long for them to even spend their lunch 'hour' there. These 2 poor guys ate 2 bites and had to leave! Service was probably the worst I’ve had anywhere. We ordered one shot each and the bartenders never stopped back. They weren’t busy either. Both bartenders made direct eye contact with us and our empty glasses right in front of us multiple times and ignored us so they could talk to other patrons who already had drinks for minutes on end. After 30 minutes we had to flag down a bartender for a bill. Less than 15 words were spoken to us by the staff the entire time we were there. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Bartenders are ALWAYS wasted. Food takes an hour plus. Brittney I believe her name is can barely walk or talk more then half the time. She had her friend taking pictures of me thinking I was someone else and then denied it. So unprofessional. I can’t believe they are allowed to get that drunk on the job. It didn’t used to be this way. We won’t be returning along with plenty of other regulars. Take control of your bar before it goes under.
