I would rate this place a zero if I could. The drive through line was wrapped around the building, so my boyfriend and I decided to go inside. The line inside was very long as well and NOTHING was moving quickly. We finally got to the register where we were greeted by a woman who stated she had only been working there for three days... No big deal... Then, before we could even place our order another employee comes running around the corner complaining she needed to take a brake because she was so hot she was going to throw up. (Exactly what anyone would want to hear right before they eat) She continued complaining, loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear, then left with a bag to go throw up in. We ordered our food and I had requested my Rodeo Chicken sandwich to be made with the spicy chicken patty. While waiting for our food we noticed and heard they were completely out of napkins, chocolate milk and BBQ sauce. The soda machine needed adjusted as our pop had no carbonation and was low on ice. I noticed while our food was being made the man making it kept putting his hands in his pants and pulling them up. I requested he put on new gloves. Then, the sick girl came back and was awkwardly wiping her face with her t shirt and putting her fingers in her mouth. She was working the drive through window. The whole time this is all happening the employees are arguing about various things and someone ran out of pennies. The person I think was in charge had no solution to not having the correct amount of change and the poor new girl had no idea what to do. We finally got our food, and of course my sandwich was made with the original chicken. I asked about it and they were willing to remake it, but I was afraid they would do something to it since I had already complained about the gloves. Both sandwiches ordered were made incorrectly, neither had cheese and had maybe a drop of BBQ sauce. The fries were the only thing good about this place and that is being generous. I would like to be contacted regarding this experience. I visited the restaurant on May 26th 2018...
Read moreI have already contacted corporates page. I ordered thru the drive thru at 9 pm 7-25-23. 2 meals and an extra onion ring. I got to the window and paid. Was asked to pull forward to the door for them to bring it out. I waited over half an hour. They were not busy at all. I finally got tired and flagged the guy mopping the floors. He went to get someone...another 15 mins and they brought me out food that was ice cold where it had been sitting (appeared they had forgotten me). I asked the boy who handed it to me to feel the fries and I put them in his hand and told him I have been waiting out here over half and our for these? He took the bag inside...then I waited another half hour and a girl came out and said they are making your hot fries and I simply asked her if they had remade my food cause I had been there over an hour. I asked her who their GM was and she said Tim Anderson. She said she was going to remake my 2 combos. Ok so I think I am getting somewhere cause she was nice and seemed to Care....another 1/2 hour nothing. So since they were not busy I back ip to the window and nicely ask for my money back. It had been way over an hour..same rude boy said my manager said I don't have to deal with you anymore. I said I want my money back period. He said pull forward and someone will bring it out. Noone ever did. I was there waiting until 10:45 and the only reason I got my money back was I went back thru the drive thru and was holding people up behind me. I was a GM myself and I would want to know if this scam was happening in my store. This Is a scam to take peoples money and apparently they manager knows what's happening and does nothing. I really think an investigation needs to be done on these scammers . Never in my life have I seen anything like it. I am old so they thought I would be afraid...
Read moreWell from reading the other reviews it's very clear to me that the "manager" (and I use this term very loosely) Becca seems to be quite the problem at this location. Not only did she jump down a customer's throat tonight about how that customer ordered she also decided she was going to speak very disrespectfully to my husband. She clearly does not value her job and if I were a franchise owner I would not want her working for me. I will be calling corporate and letting them know because even the young men who were working with her tonight were mortified and seemed extremely embarrassed by her behavior. My husband simply told her that the double cheeseburgers need to have cheese on them as he was watching her make them from the back he could have just let her make the mistake and then had her redo them all over again but he didn't. Apparently constructive criticism isnt her strong suit and he claimed he had an attitude and told him that if he didn't drop his attitude he could get out of 'her store". Then she finished this nice interaction by flinging the double cheeseburgers down the tray and said get him out of "my store" if anyone knows my husband you would know that he's a very patient very calm person and honestly she's quite lucky that he was the one there. She picked on the wrong person this time. Not cool to have a bully working at a burger joint in Newark, let alone be a manager and someone who's to be an example for other employees. Good Lord it's Free to Be Kind. Do...
